i don't know porsalin all that well, but i did like his videos, especially Mogar. i think when you work on mentally-intensive creative shit like that for a long time and only have yourself to rely on for everything, you have no filter or foil and inherently think you need to do more and more and more. you inevitably get defeated by your own success and lack of inhibition. better that he announces he's burned out and wants to do something else rather than lead people on any longer. and better that he bows out rather than turn into whatever the fuck Fredrik Knudsen did.

What blows my mind is he has to have gone out of his way to disable auto spell check on his phone because all modern ones at least replace a misspelling with a correct word even if it wasn’t the word you wanted. Happened five times in this post alone.
