They somehow cannot comprehend that living a lonely, isolated life where you waste away, collecting a tugboat because you're too regarded and unmotivated to work (or even attempt to get some fresh air), is not the same lifestyle that the "idle rich" are living. The BOY gets a couple hundred dollars a month from donations if he's lucky. He's not some LA socialite whose only job is to network; he's a retard in Wyoming whose brain is fried from booze, duster, and the internet, and I think they truly do not understand the difference.

All they see is "I want that", without actually realizing how shallow and miserable a life it actually is.

I honestly don’t get how anyone would be jealous of Cobes when he essentially lives like he’s unemployed. Yeah, he makes some money being a YouTuber, but he’d honestly make more if he were back at Wendy’s cleaning tables. His life looks extremely boring most of the time, and what money he does get is never saved, and quickly spent on fast food or alcohol. Pretty much anyone that has a job, and a social life outside the internet, is already getting more money and fulfillment than Cobes.

Also, it’s annoying when people powerlevel over how much better they are than someone like Cobes, because like with most lolcows, being better than a lolcow is a bare minimum. If you regularly shower, brush your teeth, and you can cook mac and cheese from a box correctly, then you’re much more set in life than Cobes.

Maybe I'm showing my power level by saying this, but I work a WFH job. Even with responsibilities and a family to take care of, I definitely feel how it's socially stunting me. I think I'd go completely insane if I didn't have a schedule to keep to and things which required my regular attention. I can't imagine how Josh or any of the other gorillion people living on government paychecks with nothing to do all day do it. Why the alogs think it's an enviable lifestyle is beyond me. I guess Cobes is blessed by being too dumb to really introspect lol

I really do think people need routines and need schedules in their day to day life to stay mentally healthy. Something to get up for and some goal to work towards. There is a reason why people retire and then just lose all purpose and die. With Cobes like you said I don't think he's even intelligent enough to be bothered by it. I don't think it crosses his mind he's wasted the best years of his life getting drunk alone in a dingy studio apartment. He's not really capable of comprehending that.

I spent ages 18-20 basically completely dropped out of society. I wasn't a raging drunk or anything like Cobes but I was a full on NEET and it was some of the most depressing years of my life. You have no reason to get up, nothing to look forward to, no future. I would never go back. It's so bleak. Like you've already died.

After Josh was kicked out of Job Corp for smoking weed Clint seriously considered putting him in one but he was able to beg him and promise he would get a job and move out both of which he did so it didn't happen.
