I'd note a lot of secular jews are more invested in Israel's continuing existence than actually practicing ones. For them its ongoing existence lets them both funnel money through legit means incredibly easily and acts as an on-again off-again means of garnering sympathy and power whenever conflicts like this arise. They use it in ways that would make any God utterly disdainful of their existence.

Seems like they've been giving more money to the Democrats than the Republicans over the past few years. It's probably because they know the GOP's in their pocket so they don't have to pay as much to make them do what they want.

But as far as the GOP not taking the House or Senate, I'll go one step further and say they won't make it to 2030. Republican voters have just about had it with their party and setting Trump up to fail in his final term might be the tipping point that makes them go "You know what? Fuck you."
