People complain about the art. I don't stare at panels for more than a few seconds so for me it's fine. But it apparently uses a lot of 3D assets. Some people like me don't care. Others seem to think or act like it's the equivalent of killing someone's dog. My guess is the third one should have decent art now that Cainan White got hired to oversee that stuff.

Part of the 3D assets panic comes from boomers like Ethan Van Sciver who do not understand digital art and digital tools. They are stuck doing art as if it were still the 1990s and anything remotely new throws them into a panic. I feel while it started that way, a big part of it at this point is ego. Dick can never admit he is wrong or might be incorrect on something. He always chooses to double down and go full force on everything because he thinks that is the way people come out on top. That and he views everyone hates as an authority figure, so he always chooses to go against them on any subject they support as an act of defiance.
