If a therapist is knowledgeable, caring and wise and you are aware of your issues but unsure of how to solve them, meeting with one can be productive. If they're uninformed, ideologically driven and uncaring, then it's a waste of money at best and frequently an exercise in frustration.

Slightly O/T but I fail to understand how anyone can still believe voting changes anything.

Votes likely mattered in America back when only land-owning protestants of Anglo-Saxon descent could vote. I believe that, even in our topsy-turvy world of universal suffrage, old money votes still matter much more than those of a hypothetical Jane or a hypothetical John. Therefore, it is incorrect to blame women for the political ills of this age because, due to everything we know about their nature, is it's not them molding policy but rather it's policy molding them {going with the flow, if you will}.
The real issue is that the American political elite, or the Deep State, profoundly hates the common rabble that calls itself the American Demos and might have hated it since the beginning, but definitely hated it by the time of the Civil War.

What matters is where the center of the political map is, because parties tend to naturally gravitate toward evenly splitting around that center. White women move the center to the left. If white women didn't vote, Donald Trump would be too left-wing to win a primary in America in either party. If only white people voted, the Democrats would have to move somewhat to the right to pick up enough votes to win. Perhaps they'd have to agree to only allow 500,000 illegal aliens a year and not allow pedophiles to groom your kids. density: blue california and nyc contain more people than like 20 red states combined, number of electoral votes does not fully compensate for this
age: a massive imbalance exists here, where 60+ year old white boomer grannies vote with a slight republican majority (and there are a ton of those especially in red states so they massively influence the map) while younger (under 40) white women are overwhelmingly blue, like 70%+

What actually happens is that people's political views crystallize by age thirty, but since our education system is run by Communists (it would be rude to kick them out), the new generation is always more left-wing than the previous one was at the same age. Thus both parties will move to the left. If you're going into therapy to help people, you're fucking wrong. You can't help anybody. Choose another profession. If you're going into therapy to exploit retards who can't learn from their actions and repeatedly make the same mistakes or milking endless money gibs off of actual retards who can't dress themselves, then you're in the right profession. It's a great job if you don't mind dealing with absolutely psychotic individuals. Instead of reading about a Chris Chan, you get to deal with them in real life. All day. Every day.

You are taught as a therapist to be uncaring. It's against ethics protocols to be very caring. If you invest yourself in your client too much, it is considered harm and you can get in trouble with the board. You are taught as a therapist to sit there and listen. Your goal is to speak as little as possible to your client. You can't really offer advice in the sense as what you think might be best for their life as opposed to what's allowed to be said. These rules aren't just there for the clients either, they're there to protect the therapist. It can be a stressful job and getting too invested a patient can really fuck up your life.

People have been taught that their entire lives that they can just vote to change things. Breaking that learned helplessness is very daunting. They legit still think they have that kind of power and the government serves them. Nobody wants to accept the reality that the system is that far gone. Nobody wants to realize that they might truly be screwed with no way out. Most importantly, nobody wants to take up a gun to fight against a government and die for freedoms. (No FBI, I am not encouraging this, I am merely stating your conditioning is working. Fuck off.) Things aren't bad enough for that happen yet and the government has realized they can get away with a lot more than they originally thought. COVID was the test run for this and they saw what people's breaking point was. Make no mistake, the Trucker Protest was only the start. If the Uniparty didn't see the writing on the wall and stopped then, the Uniparty might've been completely destroyed by now. If you talk to people now about COVID, they're completely fucking broken. If another pandemic hits I am 1000% convinced people will get extremely violent and that's why there hasn't been another one.

Bottom line is, nobody is going to take up arms until it's too late to do so and the government knows it and fully intends on making everything as bad as possible without crossing that threshold.
