I forgot the funniest. I was a teenager. I got arrested for being some fugitive guy in his 40s with the same first and last name but a different middle name, with a giant beard who looked like a mountain man. Only because the booking cop (who was a family friend from the same neighborhood) looked at that picture and then me and asked the idiot cop who arrested me what the fuck he was thinking was I just instantly released.

I got arrested multiple times for graffiti related stuff (don't do that shit if you can't run fast) in my teens and got thrown in/woke up in the drunk tank a couple of times in my twenties. Nothing big, always out the next day or got picked up by my parents same day as a minor.
Mine was taking a giant shit right in the middle of the drunk tank while in complete blackout mode and telling the copper who let me out the next morning that it wasn't me, completely convinced it wasn't. "You were the only one in there last night" was his answer. Some cop really got his hands dirty that day

This is your problem right here. If Alcohol lands you in the arms of the Police, it is not drug for you. Consider switching to something else to relax in the evening. Preferably ice cream. But if you like being in a fugue, then maybe weed if your State allows it. I've heard Kratom can be good too. Something, ANYTHING but booze. Or opiates, or cocaine...or well, anything really. Have you considered Ice Cream? Its a real endorphin giver if your brain isn't a literal dopamine sponge. Make yourself a bitching root beer float with whipped cream. Sip on that at the end of hard day.

100% degenerate. Waking up in the drunk tank is something that not even many seasoned alcoholics ever experience. I also had no TP and lets just say my pants didn't go through the ordeal entirely unscathed. And i had to take the bus home. Only a funny story in hindsight.

there was this one time I brought a dummy grenade to high school and was tossing it around to myself and some people got the wrong idea, so one felony hoax bomb charge later I found myself in "youth court"
it wasn't exactly Scared Straight, but it was a full larp of a trial, prosecution and defense were college kids starting out on law school, judge was a real judge with a real ruling
if you did your community service you got the arrest pulled from your record

Same here, IIRC everything you did, if you didn't end up in prison or on probation, gets nuked at age 27. Community service also sucked shit and the judges here love to give teens a million hours as a deterrent for future crimes. Palling around with arab gang bangers while picking up trash and doing physical labour is not how i ever want to spend my Sunday mornings again.
