Yeah. Filthy Frank was a character. Ian curated his image to seem cooler than he was and didn't talk about his personal life, that's just smart. Franku was the last of his kind of a bygone era. No one really plays characters anymore and people would rather just talk about their whole entire life, down to the most embarrassing details, publicly to their audience. Even doing what Ian did and look somewhat put-together seems to either be looked down upon or all of these people have brain damage and don't think of it.
