Lord Frogmire Appreciation Thread - The Better Brother (Formerly Known as Synthetic Man Appreciation Thread) - Might have an account here

I'm not a tourist, please explain to me why simply having a dark skinned female protagonist (set in a completely different world to ours) or having dark skinned female pilots is inherently woke.

this may shock you but. that "(set in a completely different world to ours)" is still made in our world, and the literal fags above are the people making it.
when the average Game Director and writer of every "AAA" game looks like this, the intention to always have black people in media always look and act a specific way, and always seem to fit the mission statement of every narrative consultant company like Sweet baby, you start to question those intentions.
Being only a little bit aware of the "who" and "why" gives you near perfect ability to just KNOW when one of these """people""" are involved in something, it's called (((Noticing)))
said ability in action:

Context is important. If a game is a crime thriller set in LA in 2024 I have no problem whatsoever if the protagonist is a black or Mexican women. American bughive cities are full of ugly niggers and spics.

If a game is an RPG set in England in 1428 I absolutely have an issue with that. A black protagonist makes zero sense in that setting let alone a female one.

Flintlock:Siege of Dawn or Microsoft Flight simulator as woke/propaganda purely for having dark skinned women as protagonists
giving you the benefit of the doubt:
it's contextual, bro.
flintlock - in that era, were afrikans really gigachad ass-whoopers? it's a fictional setting, yes. but it takes stuff from human history. and at that point in time, such people were subjugated, amongst other crueller things. so seeing a dark-skinned person just going "hulk smash" clashes violently with what people know about that era.

flight simulator - yes, not every pilot is a stereotype. if you go to asia, the pilots will be mostly asian. if you go to X country, most pilots will be of that ethnicity. but for the upcoming flight simulator, you just know the black pilot was chosen to jive with the push for more "diverse" pilots in north america, which is inorganic. at any other time, when racial tensions Don't keep getting stoked, people wouldn't bat an eye. even moreso IF microsoft said that that's an african pilot working for some african airline.

but again, context.^ there's so much push for female, african protagonists that it's obnoxious and noticeable. the bad part isn't the mere existence, but the obvious and incessant push.

if u want a good example of a dark-skinned character, look at Non-forced/ Non-contrived ones. like Sheva Alomar and Coach from L4D. my fave african character is Fat Larry from Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, cuz he's funny af

So, we'll look at the US as it's where most games are developed, most of the African population has been there since the 1600s before a lot of the European population who mass immigrated there in the 1800s. So why do they not deserve representation?
>Also what the Nigs have been doing back in the 1600s:

Now Just sit down and think for a second, how many fat-she boons out there do you think there is that is currently piloting a plane as of right now? There is a reason why out of all things, Microsoft choose that one, and also, like what Kokocrunch said previously, it's pretty damn obvious the whole push of black girl-boss on Vidya that it would've been impossible to notice.

around 4:30:00 dwd has an autistic panic attack and shits himself over synth saying "mutt" and can't wrap his head around it as anything other than trolling, dear god he's only gotten gayer and dumber with shittier content down thru the years, and the faggoty sargon fence-riding bullshit got old in 2016
4:31:28 specifically, man he is such a little pussy it's insane. Imagine thinking mutt is a slur, at least on the same level as the "usual" slurs like kike, nigger, gook, etc. Him and his chat are treating it like so. "He's clearly racist, it hits you like a sack of bricks, he might as well have called him the N word at this point" who the fuck is this cuck? He also calls Synth sneaky...one the most in your face motherfuckers on the platform, while he does his snake like dance around the word mutt. Fuckin' hell.

This logic makes no sense. Blacks are in the United States, yes. But they are a minority. Like 13% of the population.... Just how many of them are black female pilots? Almost none. And yet the ONE single pilot they show is a black female. And ur saying that Synth is schizo for noticing that? Are u retarded?

The rest are a flood of bot-like comments calling him a racist or a grifter. I haven't seen a single comment trying to actually understand Synth's point of view, it's all snarky, smug, passive aggressive spam. Just lashing out at seeing an opinion that clashes with their deranged, astroturfed views.

Gaming is majority white males, in a sane world a product would made to appeal to the majority consumer as opposed to she-porch monkeys who don’t play games.

If I'm not mistaken the protagonist of Flintlock was originally a white woman, then they hired someone from SBI who told them to make her black.
I remember another story about a female lead/director who fucked up the whole development of one of these new games with DEI shit and possible money changing hands but I don't know if it's this game.
Compulsion Games basically got disemboweled by a consultant and their next game is Song of the South.

Like 80% of the original Team left the studio and the Consultant fucked off after grabbing enough money.

Yeah that's the one. She took some of the money to create her own DEI consulting company.

Here's the thing: you know it's a psyop, I know it's a psyop, I know you know it's a psyop - but if you're trying to convince the average normie, throwing a bitch fit whenever a black person appears on-screen is not going to win you any favors.

Now, if it's some kind of utter caricature right from the get-go (side-shave, man-jaw if female, problem glasses, a fucking patch with tranny colors and pronouns listed or something), then sure, I get being upset, but we've had black people in video games for decades, and nobody had a problem with it - because it wasn't done as a political statement.

You have to understand that to an average person that is how it appears - just a normal thing. If you want to get through to people, you're going to have to adjust your rhetoric accordingly.

This is an age-old debate that's been happening among dissident right-wingers and extremists for decades. Do you act as a vanguard and push your unvarnished message and try to show people the truth, or do you water it down and bring it closer to the left-wing norm so that normies will be less likely to reject it?

I think you should see how effective watering down your beliefs has been given that mainstream conservatives now accept gay marriage and LGB. If you limit yourself to only saying things that are acceptable within the ideological framework of your enemies, then there's 0 point in you talking and you're just gonna advance their worldview and smother your own. It's when you stop pointing out something as anomalous or weird or unacceptable that people stop even recognizing it and it just fades into the undifferentiated unconscious morass of their "normalcy".

But all of that doesn't even really matter so far as Synth is concerned because I'm pretty sure that he's not trying to act as a PR guy for the right-wing and convert normies. He just doesn't want to lie.

I will still never forget how on his Fallout review, Synth told the people who disagreed with him to answer three simple questions to prove that they aren't bots in the comments section. Pretty much all of the replies ignored the questions and just insulted him, the only real different ones were those sperging along the lines of "groomer discords? yiiiiiikes... no need to be so rude!"
