I think the only drag act that gets a pass from me is Lily Savage, and I think it's because although she's sweary and rude, she's so tame by modern standards and completely non-sexual, and Paul O'Grady was, by all accounts, such a lovely, kind-hearted person.

You get the impression, with Lily, that rather than being a hypersexualised caricature based on porn, like most modern drag acts today, she's formed from his observations of his mother, aunties and other older women he would have lived around, growing up as a working class lad from Birkenhead. I am not completely fluent in narc/BPD, but it sounds like: if that natal woman gets the ick while you try to gaslight her into thinking you aren’t assaulting her, she can get you into a bunch of trouble with, what, the authorities?

I parsed it similarly to you, but also with a big side helping of incel-y "women have life on easy mode and are treated better than me by society". The bit about relationships going wrong was the telling part, something there suggests to me that this particular troon has acted poorly to a TIF partner and been rightfully called out on it.

I'll take a crack at this.
The trans-ness of both parties exists to elevate the ridiculous of the gender divide, but the divide exists even outside of trans spaces. Both parties represent their birth gender. That is, "women are wonderful", which is a well documented phenomenon, and there are many whom are eager to step in and defend them; the sniper represents people willing to defend biological women.
The troon knows they are a threat to the pooner. The pooner knows they are too weak to defend themselves. Both parties exist on the Oppression Ladder but at different steps. The sniper represents this power imbalance on the Oppression Ladder and how society views both trannies as their birth gender. The mtf tranny also feels this lens of scrutiny and is calling attention to it. He knows it exists but because he is playing the Oppression game, he does not understand why he is at a disadvantage.
