I expect that for every question the DLC answers it'll raise two more questions, sew even more doubt as to what really went on, and probably ass new plot threads that will never be solved.

People are pretty sure it’s Garden of Eyes putting forward his modded boss fights as a form of self promotion. He did this any time news about the DLC came out even splicing his own shit into trailers.
He’s a spic who’s done bosses for Archethrones and his “original” bosses are usually just bad models, busy character design, and fuck tons of after effects. The Mesmer fight is him using the breath attacks and fire to hide his shit animations. The snake is the tree spirit animation on a model he hasn’t actually tried to fit it too.
The “final boss” is a twin princes rip off and the riding character has four arms.

I genuinely don't know how I've managed to avoid any spoilers so far but somehow that's just the way the cards have landed. It feels good having no expectations because it means that you can make a judgment call about the experience based entirely off of the things you either like or don't like as you experience them.
EDIT: Not exactly no expectations tbh, I should admit I'm not a fan of scamco as a company and a part of me knows they'll drop the ball in some way because they always do, but outside of that it's honestly not that bad of a feeling. Maybe trying to stop myself from browsing /v/ really was a good idea in the long run.

The issue with /v/ is unironic tranny discords that just spam shit and ruin any discussion, then you have actual firms hiring pajeets to do viral marketing by responding to each other in threads, and then the mods which are terrible.

I went back this week and gosh the tranny discord shit is so obvious now.
Anyway dudes I'm fucking stoked for the DLC. I played like 80hrs, beat a few bosses and then life got in the way when it first came out, so now I finally have a reason to get back in, make some str faith mother fucker and play some co-op.
I have never played mage in any fromsoft game tho... But I dunno. Sword and board plus lightning or fire just feels correct to me. Let's go bros.

Was it ever directly confirmed what part of the lore George RR wrote exactly? I've put a fuck ton of hours into ER and nothing particularly stands out as being his writing.

DS2 was extra retarded. Jackoffs like all of soulbrandt, rurikhan, members of team majula before they were team majula, etc. were brought in and not only were some aspects tweaked based off of their feedback, but peeve peeverson deep throated bamco so hard he went as far as to say DS2 was the best game he'd ever played. Clearly, history has proven that to be about as far from reality as you can get but still. Virtually every literally who redditfag within the souls streaming sphere was bought and paid for. It's a good thing they were known fags for years at that point.

Ranni having two faces was supposed to be her having an astral disguise rather than a doll with an astral face.

I think they reworked the perfumes because players liked it. Perfumer bottles are in the base game and it looks like it’s more aggressive caster build.

All the character relationships is very Grrm: family in-fighting, ugly bastard sons (the omens), incest shit. Those were never really in From Soft writing before. There is also a lot more important characters that play a part in the lore when compared to previous souls games.

Don’t know why I am responding, but in order of appearance

The rememberences are particularly bad because it literally is shit from the trailer plus a Frenized Flame head stuck onto a Goldmask wearing Morgott’s coat.
The final boss arena is just the elevator from Leyndell with stumps covered in the Eternal city statues. The Erdtree is just a low definition rip of a trailer.
Worse is there is no showing off of anything new. The most is Mesmer’s spear, but it’s probably because they had there months to make a weapon art from in-game assets. We have gameplay of dungeons now.
They couldn’ve shown off shit like the Dancing Lion in better detail, but instead they did Mesmer because it’s a guy with a spear that we saw gameplay off 3 months ago and a badly modified Dragon boss. The first they had time to make a skin for. The 2nd has existed for a while, the soap stone marks outside the boss room are another tell.
