I think it all depends on his attitude. Larry Lawton (former convict turned youtuber), was a jewel thief and taught himself some basics when it came to law. Minnesota is really low on actual disbarment, but it is kind of a ticket (combined with everything else that is) to the kind of suspension that they're just "lol no" when you try to get reinstated.

I'd make a wild guess if he gets suspended, which seems a near certainty, that he'd have to complete a course of rehab, either from a bar-approved provider or one provided by the bar itself (yes lawyers are such degenerates that bar associations sometimes have in-house rehabs just for lawyers). Then, depending on how that turns out, maybe a probationary term where he can only practice under the supervision of another lawyer, sometimes a lawyer who acts as something like an AA sponsor who has been there himself, before getting his full license back.

Considering that is so likely, Nick would have to be insane not just to go for that now. It would help with his criminal case and help with his law license.

I know people say his law license doesn't matter since he's non-practicing but I think they vastly underestimate the pure narc injury of losing it. He literally seethed and screamed for seven hours straight just because Eric July threw down some shade about how he took legal advice from lawyers who actually practiced.

I've worked with some guys who actually have issues like that. They don't act like Nick. At all. They don't do some weird spasm that looks like jacking off. They basically just ragdoll.
