The real kicker is at 0:24 in the video you can see visible protrusions to the side of his nose that to me look like tendrils which wrap into his eye socket and nasal cavity. If the guy is a coke head who knows what kind of nasal damage could be going on, but to me its pretty compelling.

The damage is because cocaine hydrochloride is a salt which reacts with water to form cocaine (the base) and hydrochloric acid (the acid). The acid has no pharmacological properties but dissolves the mucous membranes, allowing the base to enter the bloodstream faster, at the cost of progressive damage to the nose. If you've seen really far gone cokeheads they often have basically collapsed noses that have been eaten away. Wealthy people and celebrities often get reconstructive surgery because they've wrecked their noses. Drew Barrymore and Robert Downey, Jr. are both examples.

As for Nick, dissolving his nose with hydrochloric acid would probably be a Mount Rushmore level achievement.

It was notable to me because it looked more like protrusions than any kind of inward collapse.
