Stardust Memory has a huge fujo following, wtf. It's the gayest Gundam series. You can't go 5 seconds looking for 0083 fanart without finding sweaty Kou/Gato buttsex (or Gato/Kelly, or Kou/Keith, or Gato/Delaz, or any number of combinations that probably fucked canonically).
They give Ghinias a bunch of screentime in the second half. And doubling down on Shiro and Aina being star-crossed lovers is extremely fujo.

There is no heterosexual explaination for Char and Garma. They're both bi at minimum. And to paraphrase Tomino on Turn A, why wouldn't there be gay people in space?

You don't understand. I'm not the type of person to watch shows and attribute homosexuality to characters who are not explicitly said to be such. But when I watched LoGH that was the first time I outright thought "this nigga gay". The homo waves radiating off Reinhardt are so powerful that it was simply clear as day.

Sieg and Reinhardt are Char and Garma levels of there being no heterosexual explaination for. Plus I'm pretty sure Reinhardt is inspired by Alexander the Great who was very much not straight, so it checks out.
