I know one professional gambler. He's probably the smartest person I know, gave up working an extremely high paying ML job to professionally gamble. I can fucking guarantee you (average reader) aren't him. When you see Bossman not take out his winnings, and you go "what an idiot! I totally would have cashed out then" you've been successfully tricked.

Yes, there are people out there who can professionally gamble. But it's definitely not you, me, or probably anyone else on this forum.

⚠️ Gambling is fun. Austin is sponsored by casinos specifically because he implants the thought “I can and will win”. Austin always wins because winning is inevitable. Everyone can gamble better or smarter than Austin. You can gamble better than Austin. Coinflip has 49% odds, which is as good or better than all casino games, including ‘smarter’ games like Blackjack. Games of chance have strategy. Even after big wins, he is up overall. The time it takes him to get “lucky breaks” is constant forever. If he had spent the time he spent gambling at a job, he would be down more than his biggest win streak. All gamblers win. There is a correct way to play. If you have an addictive personality, read this thread. Get it twisted.

Professional gambling is one of two types (a third is rare as fuck now) - a poker player who is playing against the other people at the table who are idiots and lets the house take roll off his back; a horse bettor who knows how to work the odds and take advantage of it. In both cases, the professional gambler is playing against other idiots and not the house. The third genuine against-the-house was the blackjack card counter; but that is basically non existent because single-deck buhlackjack is rare, and when it is found they shuffle almost after every hand.

When you have a bottomless wallet and an unlimited risk tolerance big wins are inevitable, which is why bossman is such a magnificent cow.

If he spent his streaming money on options he'd be a billionaire by now.
where is he getting a bottomless wallet?
The house edge is still 1%.
What the hell is a house edge on a coin flip, there 2 sides of a coin 50/50 right? And I'm a gambling noob I just don't see it as fun never liked to gamble myself

If you bet $100 on 0, 26, and 32 and play 36 times, you have identical odds to betting $300 on black and playing 36 times. Don't get it twisted.

Even assuming you play Blackjack mathematically perfectly, house has a 2.2% edge on a multiple deck stack. This is worse than coinflip. Don't get it twisted.

Please no more fucking sperging about coinflip odds, go look over the numbers yourself, they're not hard at all. Please, we have pages upon pages of people splitting hairs about a 50/50 fucking COINFLIP game.

I cant believe this idiot can get 20k to roll away. Crazy lol

in this video he's doing the $20k dice rolls and gets to $150k balance. it's mind boggling lol.

about the 1% house edge on the coin flip (it's not coin flip he's playing - it's dice) while it seems like the chance to win is 50/50 for 2x odds, it's slightly smaller. he wins if the dice roll is above 50,50 and loses if it's 50,50 or smaller.
if he wants to have a 50/50 chance on dice, he has to decrease the multiplier to 1,98x (which he did in his recent stream). 1,98x is also the multiplier he gets for each won coinflip on bcgame.

Blackjack counters now often work in teams to deal with some of the issues you described (and others you didn't but are probably aware exist). These teams are really uncommon since the kind of person who is able to do that much math in their head is a turbo autist, which inherently makes them not likely to form a team. But these teams do exist and are able to successfully flaunt getting banned from casinos for a while.

The math is more complex with two decks but I have a few resources that I could theoretically share to someone if they were sufficiently interested, but it doesn't seem like a good idea to share here lol.

But yeah I know quite a few more successful horse/sports gamblers than the single solitary successful (card game that I won't specify) gambler I know. That isn't to encourage people to go about doing sports gambling, I can pretty confidently say that's also an extremely niche % of the population who can do it, and the people I know who do it are either ML people or they work at a hedge fund or something like Jane Street, and they do sports gambling because it's their extremely autistic sense of fun.

People should be getting the picture, if you don't have an equivalent to a PhD in statistics/probability/related, never gamble, ever.

His sponsors give him completely risk free, regular reloads. I you can gamba knowing there is always another thousand waiting for you to gamba with you can go wild, if I gave you $4000 a day to buy 0DTE options with you would be a millionaire by the end of the month because you'd be free to be as degenerate as possible.

The house edge comes from the payout, the odds are 50/50 but you only get 1.9x for winning

A few people in this thread are boasting about their “acumen” in gambling. Fools. It will always get you. Always. Every gambler has his lucky streak where they feel invincible; think they are just wiser than everyone else and have more discipline. They don’t. They all find out the hard way.

I’ve been there.

The ultimate proof is go to a casino with a friend and have them make exactly the opposite bets. You bet red; they bet black. Logic says if you lose they must win; but that’s where the casino ensures the odds, payouts and games have the tiny edge. You both end up losing.

Its really kinda sad, Im a recovering addict and it reminds me a lot of how I used to live. I stuck hundreds of thousands of dollars in my veins over the last 20 years. But when your addicted all you think about is your next fix, everything else has no meaning period.

Yea I guess if you got people sticking thousands in your cup everyday fuck it. Your just the monkey dancing for their entertainment. I totally get why he never takes out like 20k, I bet he pulls $10 out a day for smokes and caffeine and shit but doesn't even think about buying a car or something useful. Its amazing how a human mind can work sometimes be it good or bad
