There are actual trans people who post here despite an incredibly hostile environment but they generally don't make a big deal of it.

I kind of DISlike that that environment drove off some of the ones I actually liked, but the hostile environment exists for a reason, and it's actually a good reason, and while I'm sad about the collateral damage, this remains one of the main places not just kowtowing to TRA bullshit is okay.

I would kind of like better nuance, but whatever. Dong-Gone, Keffals, these other scum, have kind of forced our hand.

@AnOminous : This place was totally different in 2014. There was literally a thread of idiots facedoxing themselves. Opsec wasn't even a known thing to most people. @Meowthkip got here literally a couple weeks before I did. I'm naturally somewhat of a paranoid faggot but apparently she wasn't, and neither were a lot of the oldfags you don't see any more because after a couple breaches, they realized this isn't a safe place to be.

I also forgot about the self-facedoxing thread, but I remember that even then I thought it was stupid. Guess I'm more like you because I've always been paranoid here - I was also on Tumblr at the time and knew how eeevil the Farms was considered by the tumblrinas. I thought Meowthkip was stupidly brave for connecting her account here with her art elsewhere. I never felt safe enough to do so.

In the end I'm also disappointed about Meowthkip turning out the way she did. I enjoyed her posts almost up until she left.

I think the most disheartening thing now that this news has settled in my brain reading that text about "becoming a better person" is the fact if you look at talk about meowthkip before and a good while after their departure it's a whole lot of positive and jokey talk, genuinely chill shit. DESPITE this they chose to make up some blatantly fake fucking narrative framing it like the users view the site as the exact thing tumblr people fear monger about and were constantly being mean and toxic towards and treating it as if it's some kind of "own" to point out the obvious nature of the site as basically a gossip forum. You look at the user profile comments it's night and fucking day. Been thinking of leaving a long-ish rambly one on there that they'll probably never see but at this point it doesn't really matter, cause we're just the toxic mean super serious guys that don't know we're a gossip forum, right? Taking account of emotions and feeling bad about heel turns is totally just what toxic mean bad serious people do, clearly.

Maybe her "friends" were closing in on her, and you know that everytime that there's troon-on-troon violence, they try to dig up dirt from the past. Being a KF member, let alone a KF janny, is basically a death sentence for people involved with this death cult, and thus she basically did a 180 to try and save her ass.

P.S The usage of "they" makes your message hard to read at some points, to be honest, the engLish Language takes another L, this time without any french shenanigans

Maybe, but this wasn't too far in the past? Only like 3 years? Someone that's known by the same username everywhere that isn't the farms and established well since the beginning they were on here everywhere else online I don't think there's much dirt to be dug up. She probably did have some reason similar, but not exactly that. Purity spiral type nonsense everyone always brings up about these online politics people's circles.

I've just called everyone else "they" on and off half the time my whole life, especially online even before this stupid gender shit happened. I don't give a fuck if it's considered gramatically correct or not, can't ever really break the habit. If it helps, me saying "they" about everyone also pisses off the gender police severely because in current year those guys view it as it's own specific thing rather than just a filler word.

#DropKiwiFarms began in 2022, and I don't think that before that KF was really (mis)understood by the average tranny/pooner, maybe that had to do with it. It's like the inverse of how someone that voted for Strom Thurmond during the 60s was seen as a little more than a klansman, but if you voted for him during the 90s no one batted an eye, the guy/place didn't change all that much, but the public perception did so massively.

They should fix english sooner or later and add gendered words/articles to it, or just get rid of gendered pronouns altogether like some languages do, this is getting out of hand

Gossip is best appreciated and best provided by people close to the subjects being gossiped about. That's not really a problem when that demographic is a regular group of people brought together for benign reasons. People who like music like music scene gossip, people who are lawyers like law field gossip, etc etc. This board exists to document the spilling of hot tea about internet lunatics. Of course internet lunatics are going to show up and use it as a way to reassure themselves that they're doing "extremely online" correctly, not like those posers and attentionwhores being snickered about.
