Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

I mean, fuck, just bring in Yoda, and nobody would question it.
Hell, bring Starkiller too and just make an excuse that he came from the future because "the Force says so" or insert your bullshit reason. The writers are just putting random slop in a toxic-filled soup named "The Acolyte" at this point.

The thing is, Yoda lived through that era, and he's the most iconic Jedi after Luke and Obi-Wan. And at this point, he'd be 800 years old and more than likely in a position of power within the Jedi Order, if not its overall leader. Which means that it would've been perfect if Yoda appeared. Not only would it make sense, not only would it give them an excuse to release a new Yoda toy, but we'd see what everyone's favorite Jedi Muppet was up to in that era.

I get the thing with Yoda. What I mean is, Starkiller appearing out of nowhere won't be surprising anymore to me if it happens since the lore is so fucked up at this point that it undermines the other stories like the Prequels in general.

Yeah, but then Yoda has to be retarded too to fit in with Acolyte characters.

I've heard the books set in the era deliberately have him be away, likely because his presence would fuck up whatever story the hack writers are trying to tell, either by it being something Yoda could easily solve or something that him knowing about would fuck up canon to a level even casuals would raise an eyebrow over

Who's the bigger faggot who ruined the franchise, Rian or Dave?
Rian didn't ruin the franchise, he ruined Disney's plans for the sequel trilogy. If all three movies were made by Abrams, they would have each been a soft-remake of their OT counterparts just like TFA. A safe, but ultimately boring and creatively bankrupt trilogy that presumably would have been more successful at making money for the company. But the whole spin-off franchise consisting of TV shows, Rogue One and Solo would have probably remained exactly the same, as they all follow the TFA formula of enticing the audience with the return of old characters.

It would've probably been easier for them to introduce SJW themes into SW as well. I mean, TFA was basically a pro-SJW movie, but the normies didn't see it. It was subtle, not too aggressive. And if JJ did the second and third ST movies, the normies would've likely never woken up to how aggressively far-left Disney SW was. TLJ meanwhile ripped off the band-aid and the people woke up as to how far-left SW had gotten under Disney.

It's the same reason TFA didn't have Luke; he'd overshadow the other characters; rightfully so, because they're pieces of cardboard compared to him.

In every instance, they take the opportunity to make the Lucas-era characters seem less relevant. Ahsoka, Rey, the High Republic Jedi, they're there to make Anakin, Luke, and Yoda less relevant and less important. Rey makes Luke less important by stealing his thunder as the guy who brought down Palpatine and the Empire. The High Republic Jedi make Yoda irrelevant in an era where he should be barking orders and taking charge. And Ahsoka-Darth Maul wanted to reach out to her and have her by his side to take down Sidious, and the story implies that if Ahsoka listened to Maul, they would've succeeded. Which makes Anakin completely useless.

It's so funny that literal one off characters with no dialogue whatsoever like Darth Maul and Boba Fett are extremely popular with fans but they can't even get a quarter million people to watch OC quirky lesbian doughnut steal.
Of course. Boys want to be Darth Maul and Boba Fett. They want to be a badass Sith assassin who kills Jedi or a badass Mandalorian Bounty Hunter who dispenses his own justice by vaporizing wanted men.

I really don't get the inclusion of Ki-Adi Mundi.
It's very simple...

Bossk and Greedo being active bounty hunters during the clone wars.
I can give a pass to Bossk since Trandoshans feel like they'd be one of those species that are long lived, him being around a while is perfectly fine. Also you missed Filoni's handling of the clones from his list of issues, completely absolving them of their agency in regards to Order 66 so that he could have Rex be a squeaky clean good boy who dindu nuffin in perpetuity.

One could assume that a reptilian species would have long lifespan but previously established lore states otherwise:
Trandoshans had a lifespan slightly shorter than that of most sentients in the galaxy. Considered younglings until they were eleven standard years old, Trandoshans were thought of as young adults until they reached the age of fifteen, when they became full adults. By thirty five standard years, Trandoshans were middle-aged, and those living past fifty were considered old. Any Trandoshan living over sixty years was thought to be venerable, and were greatly respected by society

Seriously, was it too hard to say it was his great grandfather or whatever? Star Trek did that when they had the Worf actor cameo as an ancestor. They didn't even need to fix it on the show, a simple tweet, or press release would have appeased fans. But instead they try to blame it on FIloni for some reason? I doubt it was his fault becuase he is too busy thinking about how to shoehorn Ashoka elsewhere.

I honestly can't tell if they are that supid, or if they are purposely trying to piss off fans.
