Dobson somehow made this about him.

I've said it before, I'll say it again, because it needs it.

This squadron of elite-liberal, upper-middle-class identitarian wank baskets is exactly why The Donald won. Because, in the words of Clinton I, "it's the economy, stupid." You can be woke or fierce or progressive in social issues as much as you want but when you are seen to be behind massive outsourcing of jobs to abroad, bad trade deals, and as the preferred candidate of wealthy bankers, all the virtue signalling about sexism, racism, transphobia, etc. in the world won't save you.

People are angry because the political establishment of which Hillary Clinton is a part is completely out of touch with reality. It's only really in touch with a few identity groups who it's pandered to over the past 8 years. People are angry because they see her presidency as a potential continuation of what can easily be cast as the failed policies of the Obama years. Donald Trump was the only fresh thing on the menu.

This wasn't The Donald's election to win. It was Hillary's election to lose. And she lost it by failing to take her husband's own advice - "it's the economy, stupid."

I am still aghast at how the reaction of people who despise and hate Trump's policies and attitudes is just to curl up into a ball and cry about it.
You know what me and my family did in 2008 and 2012 after a big part of Obama's platform was to put us the fuck outta work? We said, "eh, only thing we can do about it now is stay active in politics and try to hang on." These people are stamping their feet and throwing shitfits because a nationalist won in part due to a pushback against the bullshit culture that they're trying to legitimize.

This is the best day ever. It's like watching a bunch of children find out that Santa Claus isn't real.

Seriously, who gets this invested in politics?

You want to see some real salty tears? Go look up "literally shaking" on Twitter.

Do it. Make sure to bring some popcorn.

I love how the people who seem to be getting triggered the hardest are straight white men (or those who can at least convincingly pass as a straight white man).

Because they're accustomed to the entitled attitude they've had with politics. "Pander to MEEEEEEE"

For them, it's like learning you have to go live with your strict uncle for a few months as a kid who's used to being coddled at home.
