How did his wife find out he was cheating or did he admit he was cheating before? I am sure she would be breathing down his neck than him setting up a stream on Monday like nothing happened.

If he is indeed telling the truth that this has been disproven in court on his lawsuit against Twitch already, I hope he keeps recipes to sue this people for defamation so they learn a thing or two about false allegations. Nothing would make me happier than he suing progs into bankruptcy for defaming him

There was a sizeable portion of his audience that thought he was scummy for CHEATING ON HIS WIFE, are you seriously suggesting that GROOMING AND MEETING WITH A MINOR doesn't make that infinitely worse? I'm operating on the assumption that this is bullshit but if Twitch had direct evidence that DrD was grooming and planning to meet a minor, they would have been retarded to not drop it. It's not like it was a secret that Twitch was reading messages, another streamer was confirmed to have been permanently banned for this.

I doubt the claims are true about drdisrespect. All the "journalists" who report about the dms have yet to name a source other than themselves. For these allegations to be true would mean that a sizable amount of twitch employees knew yet not one of them leaked it (especially considering NDA's don't cover illegal activity). On top of that he got his contract completely paid out from twitch.

The case never went to court. When parties come to a settlement agreement, like what happened with Doc's lawsuit, they're agreeing to resolve the matter without taking it in front of a judge. Doc was basically putting his balls on the line in a game of chicken with the expectation that Twitch would rather spend a few million in the short term than invest millions more in the longterm.

Remember that Twitch is a corporation, meaning they were always going to approach that lawsuit transactionally as opposed to taking any moral highroad. Yeah they'd probably win the lawsuit regardless of the claims being true, but they'd be out a large chunk of change over several years of litigation, and trying to recover the legal fees would just be trying to squeeze blood from a rock.

But I mean come on, he's a 40 year old that plays Fortnite, and if that's not a red flag then I don't know what is.

He is still a millionaire making millions after cheating on his wife. When scandals like that happen, the criticism comes from all places, not just his audience. It’s almost artificial, and it fades. Again if she was 17 people would wring their hands but he’d have plenty support and cash avenues.

I am really confused why so many are confused why a company owned by Amazon isn’t going to leak DMs. It would be CRAZY if they did that. And they would get sued, even if it was really bad and gross, they’d get sued.
