I don’t trust Aaron but the way he says "I didn’t see anything like they’re talking about" about the new casino claim makes me think that it’s something that would be clearly visible from his position accessing the house and he’s not lying. He’s our retard in Havana, an unreliable narrator, but he’s the best we have.

It is an historical marker bc it is an old firehouse, and also bc it is a Mpls theater with nearly 50 years' history.

It's a good theater. Or has been for nearly 50 years. I'd assess it's struggled, aiming to acknowledge its neighborhood and the broad range of potential (relevant or worthy or not, ommv) concerns of that community, within the theater's larger context/purpose.

Nick is a dumbass for slap-fighting on social media, but he's not wrong here. He wasn't at the property when they asked him for the doorcode (but the warrant was at the property). It wasn't until he (and sergeant Nester) traveled back to the house and Nick raised a stink that he finally got the warrant. Then after reading it he slammed it on the ground.

To summarize from the officer reports of the search warrant execution: Nick is pulled over while driving away from his house, he is informed of but not shown the search warrant, he asks for the probable cause from the search warrant and refuses to give the door code in absence of the search warrant. Sergeant Nester tells the people at the house (presumably through radio) that Nick is refusing to give the door code so the officers at the house break the door down. Then Nick and Nester travel back to the Rekieta residence where Nick demands to see the search warrant, and eventually gets it (and after looking at it throws it on the ground like a child).

So as fun as it is to make fun of him, he is actually correct here.
