I hope so. And I hope the shift to the right (in the US and Europe) is going to do just that. There's a case to be made for taking in genuine refugees, women's rights, gay's rights etc. But cringy college students whining about old white people won't be the solution.

Scalia was as conservative as they come and the Supreme Court still ruled on same sex marriage as unconstitutional. An overturn of Obergefell v. Hodges or hell, even Roe v. Wade like people are fearmongering about would not be likely.
