There's a youtube I generally like, called Academic Agent (Neema Parvini). His videos introduced me to Evola, Glubb, Spengler, and other great work. He's a smart guy, used to be a college professor who did libertarian strrams. Eventually, iirc, he got interested in the JQ, and the content he made eventually got him fired. He was friends with Sargon and other bigger youtubers though, and they managed to promote him until he could make a living on his channel. He also began a website called the Academic Agency and started selling expensive courses. I took the one on Trivium and it was pretty good, I don't know about the others. I will honestly say that what I've learned from him has genuinely made me a better person.
Over time, Academic Agent has slowly devolved into a british, more intellectual, Ethan Ralph. He even has a similar autistic obsession with pro-wrestling and applies its tropes to everything else. But while Ralph can actually be funny sometimes when he gets in a ragepig feud with somebody, AA is essentially a pussy. His twitter account,
@OGRolandRat, is full of lolcow behaviour, and I'm surprised there already isn't a thread on him. There's tons of milk on his
channel too.
Here's a recent, small example: Academic Agent posts a tweet where he claims MAGA will be the true DEI. He was replied to by Peter Rex, calling him uninteresting.
Agent's response?
You'd think this would be good enough, just block someone who wastes your time. But then, he blocked over 4000 people over this inane insult.
I know from his streams that AA has never figured out how to use blocklists or any kind of automated blocking software, he's a total boomer about tech, so he individually blocked every single one of those 4000 accounts. This further proved by this tweet that shows that he didn't automate it, because he missed an account.
Of course, this led to more people ridiculing him. His response? To double down on his hugbox, of course!
More insults followed, so he TRIPLED DOWN by not just blocking people, but accusing Peter Rex of being part of the "J'Accuse Network" and claiming his was going to expose this international conspiracy of "fake-national socialists". (Who's greatest attack was, let's not forget, a mid size account calling him boring and getting 183 likes).
Of course, followed by more insults and Agent QUADRUPLING down by going on
another block spree, this time of his own followers lmao
He's done this over and over again throughout his twitter, I expect he'll keep doing this. Academic Agent has such a carefully constructed hugbox on both youtube and twitter that anything short of a glowing compliment causes him to have a mental breakdown.
I'll end this by saying I still don't totally dislike Academic Agent, he's clearly a smart guy. I've bought and enjoyed both his books, and would still recommend
The Populist Delusion, to anybody who's interested in politics, I consider it critical. But he has, over time, become a lolcow who seems to have only escaped attention by having such a tight hugbox and sheer luck, and it'll take someone more dedicated than me to catalogue the hilarity.
