As optimistic as it may be, I can buy into this. The basic difference between Daniel and Jackson is that Daniel has lived life without Becky. Jackson got shot down in his freshman year of college and has never been anything but an enslaved cuck. He and Daniel are going to have very different contemplations around the realization that they're chained to Becky and Hannah for the next 18 years.
