Glorious. Absolutely glorious. The ultimate chimp out of the decade folks. The entirety of this election will go down to be immortalized by history. Social media will only serve as a preservation for all of those butthurts.
But perhaps the most hilarious part about all of this salt is that it was so unexpected. Liberals -- many of whom who wished to just preserve the status quo -- received the ultimate rude awakening that the left does not always win out. We had been told that Hillary Clinton, one of the most corrupt politician in the United States of America's history, was inevitable and that we were racist, homophobic, misogynist, Islamophobes if we dared say anything resembling negative criticism towards Clinton. Clinton had everything going for her; rigged primary, by far the most amount of money spent on the campaign, the media unofficially worshipping the Democrats, you name it. And she still lost, the loss in typically blue states like Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania being the most humiliating. The glass ceiling was certainly shattered, just not the one Clinton's "supporters" (most of whom who were really just "Not Republican") wanted. The illusion of safe space could not have been shattered in a better way.
Love this thread and will keep coming back to it. In a weird, roundabout way, the election's outcome made me love my country again.
