They set Biden up to fail. CNN in on it with the DNC. DNC needs to replace Biden, and saying "wow his cognitive abilities have just took a nose dive and we need to replace him right now" is a better look than the truth, in which they have been Weekend at Bernie'sing him for the last 4 years.

I doubt Newsom wants to step in this year and with him defending Biden post debate that seems to be the case. Makes way more sense for Newsom to just sit back and wait for 2028 while moving to the center on some things to lure the dumb boomer audience and probably have a much better shot at winning vs someone not named Trump.

It is gambling that you will get sick while the companies bet you are not going to get sick!
If you want to fix the system fine but STOP calling it insurance.
If you have a condition it is not insurance to get something to hedge your costs.

Nah they legitimately thought they could drug up and couch him to do well. They aren't smart and 100% believe their own propaganda. If resorting to replacing a sitting president on the ballot was their plan all along, they would have had Biden announce he was only going to serve a single term. They would have had time to build up someone like Newsom instead of coming off as desperate.
