TayTay went to VidCon right after that other convention (IRE). Apparently not many people were wearing masks. 
It wasn't that long ago that she was crying crocodile tears about how Covid was soooo dangerous that she had to skip Christmas with her family - four years in a row! And yet here she is now... attending two conventions back-to-back, even though very few people were wearing masks?

Kinda insidious. I've seen this line of argument before: If you don't heckin' allow kids to be terminally online, then they might never discover their "true selves"! (i.e. that they're supposedly gay/trans). It's a groomer argument.

Briahna's also trying to argue that systemic rape by Hamas is just as LUDICROUS and UNPROVABLE of a claim as someone training dogs to rape people. She finds it offensive that reports of rape were investigated by serious reporters - even to downplay or debunk them - while no one will touch watermelon Twitter's fever dreams or give them any credence. She's dogwhistling both ways, basically, hoping it's true and also trying to draw comparisons to the things she wishes were false.

But you wouldn't have someone on as an expert about all books, the publishing industry, reading skills, writing, etc. just because they say they read a lot. "Are conservative book bans going too far? For analysis we turn to my friend Steve who has read 50 young adult fantasy novels this year."

Fortunately, no one is really forced to take a 9 hour plane trip, so the hazards of the whole thing are easily avoided. Anyway, she's one step closer to hiding in her apartment and never coming out again, I see this as a positive development. Just wear an environmental spacesuit with it's own air supply. A Chemturion suit, for example.
