You know somebody posted that clip from Smiling Friends with the worms moderating a presidential debate, so the idea of worms puppetting a candidate is amusing.

A while back in this thread, I shared a premonition I had for the election. I'd like to think I was on the right track but now I see a much better way for it to be accomplished.

The Dems are going to lose in 2024 but they're going to make sure they lose in such a way that they get to clog everything for all of Trump's second term. I expected them to just refuse to finish counting votes in some major cities and spend four years insisting that nothing Trump does is legitimate until they get to Finish Counting The Votes (which will be impossible because The Votes will have been shredded or deleted). Now I see a way to achieve that with so much more blamelessness and deniability: Switch candidates in a way that fucks the election. 30 states will have something other than Joe Biden on the ballot, and in the chaos Trump will win in a landslide but it will be so easy to say his win wasn't real. Relitigation of the election will be dragged out for years and every executive action will have bureaucrats going on the news saying that we can't be taking any kind of action until whatever new bullshit that gets traction on the news is resolved.

Trump will win and win big, but it will be in a way that doesn't feel real. The bureaucracy will take advantage of that to stop anything done by Trump from becoming real.

Lots of them have fake Social Security papers. Not sure if that means they get taxes taken out, but I am sure it means that they apply for and get lots of benefits and subsidies. No, not from the Democratic candidacy. From the Presidency. There was always a lot of fear mongering that Trump would refuse to peacefully transfer power after the election. But in the end, after exhausting every available legal remedy, he took the L. Given Biden's recent behavior, I think there's a non-zero chance he would just straight up refuse to accept a loss to Trump.

I agree, it seems they're scrambling right now to pick someone who could possibly disrupt the momentum but they also can't build up the same momentum simultaneously. They've locked themselves into a lose-lose situation.

I think this could be possible, but clogging up the system will make everything else crash. It'll simply bite them in the ass, and the rhetoric they use will be seen as (blatantly) hypocritical to the point where no one believes it and continues about as normal.

GOP has been a shitshow since the 80s but there is always someone who's a household name ready to jump in the captain's chair.

This is what the main job of a party HQ is for. It's to develop that talent, find the stars and move them up and out. The second part is to collect the checks and beg for dollars. The DNC literally does jack shit: the money-raising is all outsourced to high impact influencers and they run a nub of an office. They handle most of the messaging over VOIP rooms. They rely on osmosis for candidate development which is why they have none—that's how Progressives even managed to get a foot in the door in the first place.

Trump put the withdrawal in motion but Trump's plan took into account the fighting seasons, left us with more than one escape route and made sure that we secured the millions of dollars worth of equipment that Biden just left there. Biden ripped up Trump's plans A) because Orange Man Bad (and he didn't want him to get the credit) and B) because Biden wanted to withdraw on September 11th as a symbolic gesture. Well, this put the withdrawal right in the middle of the fighting seasons and allowed the Taliban to rally their troops to take over the country on the basis that the Americans are not trustworthy and therefore the Taliban shouldn't honour any deal they make.

Basically, the incompetence of the Afghan withdrawal is entirely Biden's fault and anyone who tells you differently is probably a partisan hack and/or neocon warmonger who wanted the grift to continue

iirc also the Afghan army was still getting paid and wasn't going to suspect the paychecks stopping soon under Trump's timetable
by the time Biden Plan was going, I forget which, but either troops were no longer getting paid or word was out that paychecks were ending soon so a lot of guys just noped the fuck out regardless of the Taliban coming in or not

Really makes one think that Massie has made a habit of making enemies but right after he criticizes the kike state and makes people aware of something sinister his wife suddenly dies. And I haven't seen anything previously about her having any cancer or long term illnesses. Was she vaxxed?

I wouldn't read too much into it yet. Massie has a fairly large desire for privacy and to separate his political and personal life. She could have been ill for quite some time and we would not have known.
