The president's tenure constitutionally ends on January 20th after an election, so no president HAS to step down for power to be transferred. The existing president loses all powers immediately. In other words, all of the fear mongering about "OMG, TRUMP COULD REFUSE TO STEP DOWN" is meaningless because the process of loss of presidential power is automatic, not reliant upon an action.

I'm surprised we haven't gotten a lot of cope about Trump's weird statement about "the best environment numbers ever" or whatever he said which was clearly pulled from his ass on the spot, but I guess it's factor of just how awful Biden looked that it's not even a topic of discussion for their spin doctors to seize on.

The despair is palpable- they seem to think the damage is irreversible and Trump has the election in the bag. And demoralization from that crowd is a definite asset as we go into November.

Also, I took a trip to the Washington ComPost comments section, which I typically avoid for the sake of my blood pressure. Marked change in tone. The smugness is gone, having been replaced by cope and doom. It’s dawning on them that they may be screwed. It’s fucking delicious.

We've known they feed off carbon dioxide for like a century bro, they then exhale oxygen and we get to breathe it. The plants weren't the concern for climate change, it's the fact that the apocalyptic predictions keep not coming true, and as much as storms might be (operative word might be) worse and summers being hotter sucks, people aren't willing to totally sacrifice their quality of life for the rest of the year in service of that.
People still like clean water, green spaces, preserved natural splendor, less smog, all of that, they just increasingly recognize that climate change alarmism is a scam because you can't promise people the world's going to end in the next 5 years for 25+ years straight without people cottoning on to a pattern when it keeps not happening.

Quotes like that are why the ADL says it’s antisemitic to compare Nazi Germany and Israel. A lot of Israeli rhetoric about the Palestinians is extremely similar to pre-Final Solution Nazi rhetoric. Well, since he would no longer constitutionally be the president, he could be trespassed or even arrested and jailed. I don't think that's a great option, but people who aren't the president have no legal authority to occupy the white house.
