African-American Appreciation Thread - Highlighting contributions from our most productive citizens

But what's also great about this documentary is that you can see the similarity to our blacks. Namely, the documentary mentions how the natives refuse to believe that white people built the airplanes. They believe their ancestors built then and the white people tricked the ancestors ...or something.
"Our ancestors built all these things but the White man stole them!"
"Why don't you rebuild them?"
"....our ancestors built all these things and the White man stole them!"
"How did the inferior White man trick your superior ancestors?"
"....our ancestors built all these things and the White man stole them!"

Something I find to be quite tragic is why in "Black Culture" aren't any business leaders or those who founded quite successful companies or who became business moguls ever really mentioned? You'd think a man who built a company from near nothing would be the peak of aspiration but aside from a few whispers or conservative voices, we rarely hear anything about them.

It fucks with the narrative, doesn't it? They must be told the world is against them and they'll never have a chance. I'm sure being told you will fail before you even begin cuts the potential of many blacks, and their ghetto habit of bullying blacks that try to succeed is just braindead cruelty. Even many successful blacks shit on whites, except in very unexpected cases like Lil Wayne who disagrees blacks don't have opportunities because of racism, pointing to his own success as an example.
I'm reminded during the Floyd riots an exhausted older black man put up a sign on his chicken stand saying Whites Only or something because he was tired of niggardry. You could hear the exhaustion and suffering in his voice, he didn't give a damn anymore
There are legitimately important blacks in American history like Frederick McKinley Jones, who as far is known didn't have a chip on his shoulder about race despite the time period. Thomas Sowell is extremely educated and well spoken even if you don't agree with his politics, theories or jabs at liberalism. I'll even include Obama, how the fuck could he have been POTUSx2 if this country hated nigs so much? Or was that stolen too?

There's an interview that got people spicy because he did actually say that on camera, and that one of his personal heroes is a white cop who saved his life when he was a baby.
Huh. Never thought Lil' Wayne of all people would be one of the "based blacks". His music is shit though

Darrell Brooks is a huge narcissist and when he kept saying "grouns" in his trial, he thought he was brilliant. But he was doing the cargo cult thing.

It's really, really common.
I don't remember if it was this video specifically but Ronnie "Turdcrown" Oneal III's pro se defense is where I learned a new word, "exasturbate", apparently a portmanteau of "exacerbate" and "masturbate":

Black attitudes towards LGBT seem at best ambivalent. There was that one episode of SVU I remember where Ice-T was like "u not on tha down-low, u GAY" and various incarcerated niggerfaggots IRL who deny being gay, reflected in medical language specifically designating "men who have sex with men" so that they know in no uncertain terms that STIs apply to them too. Also the Patron Saint of Fentanyl, Georgius Floyd, is on record as being a transphobe. The point is, I can virtually guarantee that niggers actually celebrating pride there were a minority. Most of them instead found out there was a large gathering and instinctively turned it into a critical mass of chimping out not easily contained by da popo.

Just anecdotal but it's generally hostility, either due to religious conservatives or hood machismo. This is also why it seems like black and brown men are disproportionately represented as prostitutes and victims, they have the muslim perspective that if a man dresses like a woman or gets SRS it's somehow not gay. Then the John kills the little lady and we get protests about how black trans lives matter. There was at least one local incident when a gang member said he was made to kill his crossdressing 'girlfriend' to restore thug honor and prove he's straight or whatever. It's not like thugs treat biological females much better, I guess.

"BWOI AH WILL COME BACK DERE 'N' BEATCHYO AZZ NIGGA"
"Why are you doin' that over a lighter?"

Even the (mostly) hyper-masculine Nazis didn't threaten violent chimpouts over seeing the color pink, going as far as flying pink flags from their infamous Panzers:

Oh I thought those got deleted, yeah those videos are nuts and so consistent. I thought it'd just be one insecure guy but it's like a whole thing. I'm kind of amazed the shopkeep still hasn't been shot with all the crazy and stupid he experiences. Besides, pink was a masculine color in American history once and I think it still looks good to dress around.
