Careercow Thomas Moulton / Guardbro / Guardbeardia Beardio / Guardbro's Field Desk / Guard / Guardbrosky - A 4chan poster turned failed creative type. Possible pedophile, most definitely a massive loser. May currently be fighting for visitation rights to his step-daughter.

Hello, I was told there are court documents related to Thomas Moulton here/evidence of him alledgedly raping his stepdaughter, I believe the claims but I just wanna see court documents related to the incident, please and thank you.

Haven’t heard anything on that front, people are probably conflating the Big Dick situation with Guardbro’s. As far as I know there have never been any accusations about him raping his stepdaughter, drawing porn in the same room as her, fucking horses and being an all around degenerate on the other hand.

So I ask again, is there any proof of the pedophile/drawing porn infront of his step daughter/whatever deranged perverted shit.. besides the "I saw it on 4chan, so it must be true"?

His "novel" for those curious. Or his first one at least. I might write a book report and tl:dr it, I enjoyed myself last time I attempt that on this site for someone else's book.
Since this guy hasn't delivered, I'm probably going to give this book a proper review at some point.

After a few days of careful detailed reading and taking notes, I have finally cobbled together a proper review of this book. This is my first review on the forum of any purportedly serious media from outside the forum. With that said, I present.
A REVIEW OF VEIL RIDERS, BOOK I
BY LIEUTENANT RASCZAK, some retard on an Internet gossip forum
1717823707346.png

Before we get into my actual thoughts, I might as well provide a summary for those who aren't insane enough to waste a day or two reading this book. If you're a madman who does want to waste your time on this, go right the fuck ahead.
A young girl disappears into the cave in the Appalachian Mountains. Search and Rescue are sent down into the cave, but themselves disappear and the rescue crew gets out of there. In the mean time, people find out about a portal within called “The Veil” and the whole world gets pissy at the US for it’s new found possession. As a result all military resources are sent out to guard the American border. Because of these limited resources militia/veterans are sent as a Lewis & Clark style expedition into an Isekai fantasy world and quickly set up camp.
The Riders arrive and set up camp outside of the veil. The rescue team’s corpses are quickly found to have been mauled by very large unknown creatures. They receive an 81mm Mortar and set it up on advantageous terrain. Meanwhile, someone with a scout UAV creates maps of the region which include a nearby village. While scouting the village on foot, Fort Kick-ass comes under attack by wolves larger than polar bears. Thanks to an 81mm mortar and an M2 Browning, the group manage to drive off a dire wolf attack.

While scouting the village on foot, Fort Kick-ass comes under attack by wolves larger than polar bears. Thanks to an 81mm mortar and an M2 Browning, the group manage to drive off a dire wolf attack.
A team of 10 UN Peacekeepers come across into Fort Kick-ass. They demand that the Riders disarm themselves, but they refuse and tell the Peacekeepers to fuck off because “no, I’m not drinking your god damn corn syrup you blue helm faggots”. The attempt fails, and the ten men in Fort Kick-ass are killed, men are sent over and 30 UN Peacekeepers are there waiting for the Rider militia. Some how only three casualties on the Riders’ side are taken despite the Peacekeepers being armed with automatic shotguns.

After the attempted ambush, Yule & Koko each take 66 riflemen under their command and ditch Fort Kick-ass. This is where the “Veil Militia” officially become the “Veil Riders”. Cosmoline Company or Yule’s company has been on the march from Fort Kick-ass for a week to get to the nearest large settlement. They arrive to encounter very friendly locals, and a translation magician greets Yule.
The Riders of Cosmoline Company become accustomed to the city that they march and start getting to know the locals and the peoples of the Veil. Yule is summoned by a group of ambassadors who want to know more about the Riders from another world. It is found out that a week in the Veil is about five or six weeks on Earth. The last contact with humans were with a group of Maximilian I’s Landsknechts, which in Veil time was 110 years ago, or 520 years on Earth (assuming the initial events of the book takes place in 2019 and the Landsknechts were from the Swabian War in 1499)

A translation amulet powered by a mixture of an unknown substance and blood is introduced as a sort of magical communication and translation device is introduced to the story in order to allow the locals to communicate with the Riders. The introduction of the amulet is the first hint of magic that’s introduced to the story. The magic system is established, either needing “Dwarven Agni Umingi” or “Good quality blood” to cast powerful spells. What “Agni Umingi” is was not specified immediately. They talk to Yule about the situation they’re in and having to come to terms with the time dilation differences of both worlds.

All 66 men of Cosmoline Company are in a pub drinking and enjoying their time and trying to interact with the locals. Yule comes in and orders all the Riders’ to put their marker stones in a pile. All the markers are wrapped in duct tape.
The Riders are tasked by the local King in the City of Imlnoris to clear out mines filled with goblins causing trouble. For this, Yule was rewarded with his own translation amulet and an elf girl who’s blood would be used to fuel the amulet. The Riders would also run out of batteries for the UAVs and Radios, resorting to using harpies to deliver letters from unit to unit. The other company led by Koko, Zerg Company would finally arrive in a city called Artry and set up camp outside the city, choosing to build a Star Fort. All of this taking course over the span of a month after the march from Fort Kick-ass.

Meanwhile at the location of the Veil, the UN had started building an outpost where Fort Kick-ass used to be. Technology was being exchanged between the locals and the Riders. The city’s dwarves were starting to produce ammunition for the riders but at a very slow and tedious rate. While on a patrol on a road spanning between two cities, the Riders encounter Humvees baring UN insignia. The blue helms are ambushed and quickly disposed of by the Riders. Cosmoline Company’s 1st Dragoons dispatched 29 UN Peacekeepers without a single loss. They manage to pick up a single survivor, a German woman who they take as their sole prisoner.
The Riders return from their first ambush of UN peacekeepers with captured vehicles. The prisoner is interrogated. From what the Riders find out, backroom deals were done and the President was properly impeached. Foreign troops are allowed on American soil, and the Riders were declared terrorists. For some reason, the Midwest is on the border of rebelling and Russia is threatening Europe in order to get a better share of the Veil. Meanwhile a harpy by the name of Chikily manages to get the assistance of harpies simply known as Himilayas.
The Riders manage to hire on more harpies and hire a guy to make uniforms for them. Meanwhile on the way to investigate Britta, the surviving German woman from the convoy, she shanks Yule with a makeshift wooden knife. Of course, this doesn’t work, and Yethis the healer and first Veilfolk to join the Riders would use her blood to heal herself and Yule.

After this little stint, Yule inquires for more information and the story of what happened on the other side is clarified. The EU, China, and Russia want resources from the Veil and are willing to bribe Senators and Congressmen to do so. They engage in a bidding war in order to win over Congress since the President isn’t having it. The President is impeached and the Vice President is now at the helm. Because of these backroom deals and since the Europeans won the bidding war, a contingent of European troops are sent to American soil to go into the Veil, being equipped with American gear.

The fact that large numbers of European troops are on American soil causes Middle America to revolt. The riders are declared terrorists and are deemed to be shot on sight. Meanwhile on the other side, the Southern Elves are getting rather chummy with the Commanders of the European contingent. For some strange reason, the Southern Elves end up enslaving and slaughtering local elves presumably to gain more magical abilities from the blood of elves and are using the international contingent as a blunt instrument in order to coerce the local elves. Some troops question this but are brushed off by their commanders.
Yule introduces Britta, the prisoner to the Riders HQ which is based out of a local pub called the Sparkling Unicorn. The riders are going about their usual business. Yule is approached by one of the bar maids, Alavara. She finds out that Yule’s wife died in a car accident after having an argument involving his personal office’s paint scheme, Yule arguing it should be gray while his wife arguing it should be purple. Yule snapped, his wife went to get the paint, and she died in a car accident.

Meanwhile, Koko’s unit Zerg Company has been using guerrilla warfare against UN Peacekeepers, even managing to somehow get their hands on an M1117 armored car in the process. Valley Elves to the east of the Veil have been forced out by UN Peacekeepers. Some of them were even joining the ranks of Zerg Company and armed with spare rifles found off dead Peacekeepers. Back in Imlnoris, Yule hires harpies to act as scouts against the Peacekeepers and Southern Elves.

Yule also goes to the local Dwarves, they figured out how to manufacture 5.56 & 7.62 NATO in days due to their engineering prowess and schematics for the Bessemer Process and Industrial Blast Furnaces. Wanting to now manufacture small arms, Yule gives them a K2 and a FAL for them to pick apart and reverse engineer since the Riders need to manufacture small arms and ammunition.
The harpies haven’t come back from a recon run, while Yule was doing research in the Imlnoris Library. Yule and a few other conspiracy theory minded rivers eventually discover the Fae and find out about the various Fae Wars. This goes on for a few more days until word gets out that Koko and Zerg Company are in deep shit. In the mean time, the dwarves had started producing K2s and FALs within a matter of days and were ready to go on an offensive of their own. Yule decided to move out Cosmoline Company as a result of Zerg Company being in very deep shit. Alavara gets to Yule and manages to sleep with him before Yule is set to move out.
Cosmoline Company depart from Imlnoris in order to reinforce Zerg Company under Koko. After a few days travel, an outpost is setup on top of a hill within a densely wooded forest. Two of the five harpies from the previously mentioned scouting mission made it back with several defected European troops from Germany, Czechia, and Poland. The European troops were mistreated by this mysterious group running the main Veil base. After some suicide missions, getting shoved into the corner of the base, and troops openly speaking elvish enough was enough.

After this, the European troops defect. However a lot of the European defectors would end up getting cut down despite assistance from the harpy scouts. They also learn the Veil has been expanded to allow for more equipment from Earth to come through. After a night of healing and rest, a headcount is conducted and Yule now has 109 troops at the outpost. Up from 70 because of the 39 European defectors.

The harpies bring in supplies, and the harpy queen tries to get into Yule’s pants, but he says no. This causes the harpy queen to get upset. The next day a supply train comes in with ammunition, food, and even freshly created enchanted mortars from the dwarven engineering hold. The dwarves were ready to fight and the Fae Army, known as the Chosen Children were drilling themselves for war.
Due to a need for manpower, especially if it came to fighting the Chosen Children. The Veil Rider Infantry Auxiliaries are established to bring in new volunteers due to a manpower shortage. It was comprised of Brimtouched, Dwarves, Onii, and Valley Elves. With this influx of manpower, uniforms would have to be made, and new NCOs would need to be trained. The FOB now known as Valhalla Hill, would act as the conduit base for the Riders and their Auxiliaries.

Meanwhile unit of Czechs would frequently harass a company of Chosen Children. Patrols would also be sent out to ambush and capture vehicles from ambushed convoys. In one of these patrols is Yule with five platoons of mostly Auxiliaries and the 1st Dragoons with assistance from two fenneks. The rain that’s pouring down suddenly stops and this gives the Riders the opportunity they need to ambush the convoy of relatively green Chosen. Because of how relatively green the Chosen were compared to the Riders, they abandoned all their vehicles at the first sight of trouble.

One Chosen manages to kill two Terran riders and three auxiliaries before getting gunned down. In all, there were eighteen surviving of the company’s worth of Chosen, all of whom are Southern Elves. They capture some more trucks, fenneks, and an M1117. But wait, the convoy was a ruse as mortars start firing upon the positions of the now captured vehicles. The Riders and Auxiliaries start to get the fuck out of dodge but not before taking the vehicles. Yule’s M1117 takes a mortar round to the door nearly destroying it in the process. Many auxiliaries and riders were wounded as a result of the mortars.

As it turned out while in the progress of getting back, an Elf had killed all the other elves in the armored car. She gets tard wrangled by the Riders and brought into interrogation. It’s found out that 155mm howitzers, M777 and self propelled guns were dragged into the Veil, forcing the Riders to go on the offensive.
After Yule gave the choice to the Veilfolk on whether to leave or come with, all the Auxiliaries choose to go. A lot of experienced troops had to be left at the base in order to train the auxiliaries, and Yule needed as many of the original Riders alive as possible to train the fresh faced auxiliaries. They move out aiming to get to the city of Emalone with skirmishes being a daily occurrence and casualties being taken over the course of two weeks.

By this point, they had come across the village of Meseriam to which they encounter a full company worth of the Chosen. They encounter stiff resistance trying to take the village. The Riders deploy smoke grenades to cover the advance of the rest of the platoons, this works and the Riders engage in CQC with a mix of modern and medieval tactics. This is before Meseriam is flattened by 155mm shells, Yule is thrown around in a way that should’ve killed him but is saved by a Deus Ex Machina moment from a Death God. Yule looks around to see the entire village was destroyed by artillery, he manages to scrounge up some healing potions, and then moves south.
After Yule gets the Deus Ex Machina treatment, he would be in constant pain from his wounds, despite the one or two healing potions he could scrounge up. He would start wondering around in the forest, lost and without direction. Managing to find abandon houses and scrounge up whatever food and blankets he could find. He managed to stumble upon the city of Emalone, controlled by the Southern Elves and the Chosen.

He manages to kill two sentries and loot their gear by sneaking up on them. But not before overhearing that the Chosen were bringing over Bradley IFVs. Yule then sneaks his way into the city in a very stealthy manner making sure he isn’t caught. He manages to kill a Fae officer and two Southern Elves, while preparing to execute an Artilleryman and bury him, in trash. After this Yule tells him about the creeping barrage starting from the Chosen controlled end of the village. For some reason Yule believes that the Southern Elf named Fino, is a woman.
With the help of Fino, he sets up explosives in an ammunition dump with the intention of destroying 155mm shells and ammunition. Yule slowly goes around killing sleeping elves and steals a Paladin. While Yule drives, Fino is tasked with actually detonating the explosives wired up. It works and the ammunition plant goes out in a massive explosion. Yule drove about 50 miles before checking up on Fino.

After some more driving, Yule demands that Fino operate the gun of the Paladin while on the move. They had arrived back at Valhalla Hill and a large battle was going on for the base. Fino loads a 155 shell into the Paladin’s gun and it fires into the Chosen devastating their ranks. This move causes the Chosen to retreat, and for the Riders to cheer back their commander who they thought dead.
Yule returns to Valhalla Hill to see the number of buildings have tripled. Proper barracks, a tavern, a field hospital of sorts, and the command bunker has been expanded. The Czech Paratrooper unit is harassing Chosen units up and down the line, and troops have been sent out to harass the city of Sanrion. In the meanwhile they had invented anti-tank weapons when a Dwarf had a hold my beer moment and decided to shoulder fire a mortar.

Fino starts explaining to the dwarf how the Paladin works to the dwarf, until someone finally points out that Fino was a Southern Elf, and a man. Yule gets into an argument with Gremlin over giving schematics to the dwarves for free because they’re supposed to be selling them to the dwarves and not giving them away willy nilly. After this Yule heads to the newly constructed bath house and cleans up after being in the field for God knows how long. Afterwards he heads back to his bedroom, which has been cleaned up quite a bit. The next morning he goes towards the parade grounds where an Auxiliary Company is doing their morning PT. Yule then orders each company to form onto the parade grounds and sound off, the total is Battalion if not Brigade levels of strength in their totality.

The various companies of Auxiliaries then proceed to do PT the whole day, learning about the fireman’s carry and what not. Then there’s a slice of life scene at the chow hall. Another species gets introduced called the Yamatu. Then Yule heads to the prisoner holding area where he meets the half-fae that was captured earlier. In the process of speaking to her, he nearly kills the halfling after she set him off.
After beating the ever living daylights out of the Halfling, a healer comes over to the holding cell. We learn that Zerg Company has also grown in size and has become Zerg Brigade. In this time new magical anti-personal and anti-tank mines were created. But also the confirmation of Bradley and Abrams production on part of the Chosen had been seen. Meanwhile, on the base Gremlin has fallen for Fino, and wants him all to herself. Yule decides to help Gremlin out with this by pretending that she’s in charge of “”interrogating”” him.

Gremlin seduces Fino, meanwhile Yule heads to bed and has nightmares about his previous deployments and all the dead. The next morning Yule wakes up to read reports and one of the reports say that he has a total of 8 Battalions under his command. Because so many want to go, there’s a raffle for which unit wants to go into battle on the company level. In the HQ, Yule and his higher ranking NCOs prepare for the upcoming battle. Realizing the enemy will have Bradley IFVs and Abrams, they are at a massive disadvantage.

Once in battle, shit was going down. Domino’s men were fighting Bradleys at this point and were heavily pinned down by the coaxial 7.62 machine guns and 25mm autocannons of the Bradleys. They were pinned down and about to bayonet charge before a Dragoon unit reinforces the line and charges in at the Bradleys. This mad dash of horsemen expecting 80% casualties had actually had great effect on the Bradleys. Some how instead of 80%, they instead take 10%, how? I don’t know, don’t ask because plot™.

Domino’s auxiliary units have somehow managed to capture a few Bradleys. Meanwhile from another direction Chosen operated LAV-25s came into view, dismounting their infantry.
The LAV-25s and infantry had started to open fire, increasing Dragoon casualties from 10% to 40% in a matter of seconds. A Master Sergeant nicknamed “Cheeki Breeki” pushes up to one of the LAV-25s in close quarters combat and even manages to capture one of them. Now the Rider companies were engaged in CQC with the Chosen and their LAV mounted troops. Yule would confront a Southern Elf radio operator and found out the Fae are trying to move the Veil to another location. The Bradleys and LAVs were a delaying action.

Yule then talks to the radio operator about his CO, a Colonel Tornelis. Yule then challenges Colonel Tornelis to a fight to the death. The Southern Elves of the Chosen Children and the Riders Auxiliaries gather around to watch their commanding officers beat the ever living shit out of one another. Tornelis casts fireball and Yule casts Beretta. Tornelis’ fire magic actually melts the 9mm bullets mid-air. He then casts fire tornado against Yule. Some more fighting goes on before Yule charges Leroy Jenkins style and slams his shoulder into Tornelis’ torso.

Tornelis then attempts to use his magic fire wings™ to get a height advantage on Yule and casts fireball, Yule takes it and his steel arm plate melts on impact. Tornelis realizes his fuck up and tries to back peddle, but not before Yule grabs his boot and slams him into the ground. His magical™ wings are broken instantly. The Fae Colonel then tries to charge one last time with a sword only for it to fail miserably. After a dashing and dodging one another with melee weapons Yule gets the upper hand and this Fae tries to do one last move, but ends up cooking himself alive.

Yule then offers the remaining Southern Elves a choice. Either go back home from where you came or to follow Yule back to Valhalla Hill. They choose to go back to Valhalla Hill with Yule in the end, and plan to bury all the dead there.
The troops are riding back to Valhalla Hill. The human riders are arguing over what meme names they want to dub the captured LAVs with. One of the Elves asks why the human riders still bare American flag patches on their shoulders. The others respond and the Elf captain starts to wonder whether the narrative presented to her by the Fae was true or false. The Riders then walk into base where the Australian Veil Rider is sitting there with his Megumin body pillow.

They let in the Riders and Yule finds the three dead human riders. He orders that the Zavasta M70 be taken so that blueprints and schematics be made of the rifle, to make sure the Montanan Rider’s legacy live on even long after his bones and grave were long gone from this world. The Riders then hold a funeral for not only the fallen Riders & Auxiliaries but also for a unit that comprised the delaying force of Chosen Children, the Queen’s 13th, who've been invited back to Valhalla Hill for some reason. They all Press F to pay respects and go about their day. Meanwhile Yule heads to the bathhouse for some much needed rest and cleaning up. There’s a sequence with Alavara, the bar maid from the Sparkling Unicorn now in Valhalla Hill with Yule, and then the story ends.

Here's what I like about the book. The setting although it's very hair brained and retarded, the concept of it sounds fun on paper. Granted, the book is pretty much just GATE but with /k/ommandos instead of the JSDF. That's the only good thing I can say about this book, is that it's fun scenario. There is a lot of problems with the story, from plot holes right out of the gate that might as well comprise a mine field, all the way to smaller details and nitpicks within the story. There's probably more than I've noticed, but these are the ones that stuck out to me the most prominently.
List of Plot Holes
- First one is the most obvious. The existence of the Veil itself and how there wasn't a cover-up. How did some clandestine organization not get information about the Veil’s existence and not immediately cover it up. You think that the FBI, NSA, DARPA, or some other government agency within the Federal Government clad with secrecy would not allow this information to get out to the winder world and would immediately make it the most closely guarded secret of the United States, even going as far as getting people to commit suicide to three shots to the back of the head.
  • Why were College scientists allowed access to the Veil and allowed to experiment on it?
  • Why did local law enforcement not inform the Feds about the Veil? Why did they go to journalists and or the wider world first?
- In the story, the US literally loses all of it’s allies over the Veil in the cave. That’s decades if not centuries worth of diplomacy and alliances thrown out the window in the space of a week or more just because of a cascading effect of a young child and rescue crew disappearing into a cave. The young child who disappeared is never mentioned again after the first few chapters.
- Because of the above, the choice is made to send in Veterans & Militia as a Lewis & Clark expedition force instead of Green Berets, SEALs, or Delta Force. Hell even Blackwater and it’s successor groups would be a better selections. Not the main force being comprised of militiamen and retards from an Internet image board. I know sending in SOCOM guys would defeat the entire purpose of the story’s existence, but it’s still something to keep in mind.
- In Chapter 2, the skulls of dire wolves can supposedly shrug off 7.62×54r rounds, you think there would be more casualties especially considering these wolves are the size of fucking polar bears of all god damn animals.
- In the Chapter 4 long march, none of the men supposedly died on the march. Whether it be trench foot, general disease, or any medical issue considering the Riders are cut off from supplies. Hell it's also a surprise that nobody got lost along the march as well for some miraculous reason.
- In the Chapter 6 ambush sequence, the Riders some how did not take a single casualty, despite the peacekeepers being better equipped than their Rider opposition.
- In Chapter 7, it's found out from one of the captured European prisoners that there was a Republican majority in the House, yet the Democrats ended up in charge despite the impeachment. You think the Vice President would be next in the line of succession, but no. This isn’t further elaborated on other than “backroom deals” and “bribes being exchanged”.
- In Chapter 8, the book either contradicts itself or clarifies the above. The Vice President is the one in charge, but instead US Senators are bought out by the European Union and it’s various member states in a bidding war against the People’s Republic of China and the Russian Federation for influence over resources in the Veil.
  • You think that with such levels of bribery that there would be an investigation of Congress or someone in the National Security apparatus would notice and say something to someone high up in the FBI or the NSA realizing this level of bribery would be an active threat to the United States.
- If they are European, why aren’t they using EU insignia as opposed to UN Peacekeeper insignia? If this was a competition for natural resources and the European Union and the United States were cooperating, why not use NATO insignia as opposed to UN Peacekeeper Insignia.
- In Chapter 13, you think the M777s would be used against Yule's ambushes for harassment purposes while on the march. It does not take long to set up an M777 in general, it takes at most half an hour. Instead the M777s are first used when they enter the village of Meseriam. Hell it's well known that M777s can be set up in as little as 3-5 minutes, and packed up for redeployment in as little as a minute in a half.
- In Chapter 18, you think that inviting your captured enemy with the intent of folding them into your ranks back would possibly lead to a potential issue with spies some time down the road.
God damn, I went through these like the product listing in Weird Al's Hardware Store song. These plot holes alone are only but a few within the story, but I tried to cover as many of the most significant within Book 1. There are also other significant issues within the book, there are also other issues besides the plot holes.
Other Issues
These are other issues that aren't plot holes that I had with the story, but rather other minor issues including grammatical issues and nit picks. Or areas where more questions were put in my mind than answers. These are smaller issues that are not as blatant and terrible as

- Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that there’s no officers in the Veil Riders because of the author’s disdain for commissioned officers, because of the author’s prejudice against COs there’s only NCOs. This is a terrible idea for obvious reasons.
- Yule the protagonist is the author's idealized self insert.
- In Chapter 2, a construction team isn't sent to assist building a camp. You think that construction contractors would be sent to at least assist in building a proper camp.
- There are multiple instances in the book of various fetishes. Including overly detailed descriptions of librarians' feet.
- The Veil World's size being "Twice the size" of earth isn't specified. Is it radius or surface area, it's not explained in the book.
- The Riders are the "I hate the Anti-Christ" meme in the form of a fantasy world faction.
- The first Landsknechts were from the 1470s and 1480s, around 550 years ago as of 2024. Considering the book’s events take place in 2019 and not 2024, the timeline is going to be 2019-centric. The year count isn’t 600 as the author suggests, then again it’s a rounded up generalization number. Assuming the Landsknechts were from the Swabian War of 1499 as suggested above, that’s about 520 years in which case the rounded up generalization of 600 years is wrong.
- The UN Peacekeeper convoy was comprised of Europeans using American equipment for some strange reason. Why weren’t they using equipment from their respective home countries? Especially if they’re Western European and not from Eastern European countries.
- The fact that the Riders are able to capture any armored vehicle in working order is one thing. Fueling the god damn vehicles is an entirely different issue, especially when considering you can't just fuel the vehicles with an alcohol solution and need actual oil and a working way of refining the fuel.
- Where did the sticky notes come from? Post-it-notes or sticky notes were first made in the Early 70s as a way of finding a use for a pressure sensitive adhesive. How the fuck did they get so many sticky notes?
- How come the Europeans didn’t notice problems earlier? Wouldn’t the suicide missions and disappearances be enough to cause the Euros to defect as well?
- You’d expect some of the Chosen to fight back despite how green the troops themselves are, even if the vehicles were a ruse to get the Riders out of cover.
- Yule was tossed around by the incoming 155mm shells which should’ve most certainly turned his body into tomato paste. If not by the shrapnel and debris, then most certainly by the shock wave of the explosions.
- On page 270 of the PDF there's a massive spacing error.
- Wouldn’t multiple 155mm shells be needed in order to cause devastating effect and not just one shell? Or were the Chosen so tightly packed together that a single shell could devastate their ranks with such efficiency.
- There would be a lot of problems for a group of 64 human Riders to train up an entire Brigade within the span of God knows how long.
- Lower case i in Internet used, Internet is a proper noun.
- They're is used in place of their. The story's writer uses the there, their, and they're in the wrong places.
- Colonel Tornelis' fire wings genuinely sound gay and retarded
- Tornelis’ fireball magic where he melts the bullets mid-air is fucking gay and retarded. It’s only used to keep the fight from being anti-climatic.
- It’s really fucking stupid to allow your shoulder armor which is made of steel to melt on your arm for obvious reasons. That guy's arm is at the least vaporized and or your arm is melted down to the god damn bone.
- The story’s writer literally writes an argument over an LAV being named Femboy Hooters or Milf Denny’s. No that’s not a joke, that’s actually in the book and it’s retarded.
- Why does one of the riders have a god damn Megumin body pillow? Stop making fucking anime references.
With all of these issues taken into consideration, the writing competence in this book is mediocre. The concept the writer was attempting to get at genuinely sounds interesting and fun and there were parts that actually had me sucked in at some points. The problem is that Guard's writing talents are few and far between and need some serious improvement. Either by taking some writing classes or by taking in feedback from people who have more experience with writing books and writing in general and not the people from within his circle. Despite having some political disagreements with some people within the world of writing, said writers could give him at least a nugget or two of proper writing tips.

I give this book a total score of:
3.7/10
It's not good by any means at all and is a generally mediocre work, and it needs a significant amount of touch ups. I will get to the other books at some point, but that's for a different time.

Please tell me you have already or plan to do more posts like these? Fantastic work, can't believe I used to find this guy interesting.
A review of the other Veil Rider books are on my mind, but are relatively low priority because of two things. The first being a roblox faggot decided to throw a shit fit, and I also feel like making fun of Dick Masterson. I also heard from the grape vine that he plans on rewriting his first book, so I may write a review on the rewrite. After reviewing the Veil Rider books, I may also do a review of Emily Bronze if I can find time for it.

Even then, I still want to review one of Patrick Tomlinson's books before getting to the other Veil Rider book reviews.

A review of the other Veil Rider books are on my mind, but are relatively low priority because of two things. The first being a roblox faggot decided to throw a shit fit, and I also feel like making fun of Dick Masterson. I also heard from the grape vine that he plans on rewriting his first book. I may also do a review of Emily Bronze if I can find time for it.
Will check it out, hell yeah.

- Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that there’s no officers in the Veil Riders because of the author’s disdain for commissioned officers, because of the author’s prejudice against COs there’s only NCOs. This is a terrible idea for obvious reasons.
I'm not ex military but have friends who are. Can you go further into this? I'm not exactly sure how the hierarchy goes for these things. I'm by no means an expert on military shit.

As a military gets larger and larger, the harder it becomes to coordinate large quantities of men. Hence the need for managers of sorts, in this case Commissioned Officers, who receive four years worth of training in order to take on certain responsibilities. The most junior of the officers start out with less responsibilities while gradually acquiring more and more experience and eventually gaining responsibilities with more important roles. There are problems with this implementation in practice, but this is the general thought that it goes by.

This is how it works from the lowliest of butter bars in charge of a gagglefuck of 30 or so idiots, to the old dudes with stars and 35 years of service under their belt who coordinate hundreds of thousands of men. Very simplified overview but it's something that anyone could get.

Also there's the issue of the "culture" of how the country is like. I know of stories of mafiosos who served the military back in the 1930s and 1940s, back when the USA was respectable. Yet now that is even worse, it's hard to imagine GI Joes and GI Janes having a good... uh, "attitude", shall we say? (I can't think of a proper word due to my ESL - sorry).

You get the typical farm boy who perhaps wants to make it to the armed forces and the drill seargents, sure, yet I have doubts on the overall picture of the Army as a whole.

I kinda just assume all name/tripfags on imageboards are, unless proven otherwise:
a) pedophiles
b) trannies
c) soyboy neckbeards
or
d) pedophile tranny soyboy neckbeards
It really takes a special kind of retardation to have the desire to stick out like that. Kinda like one of the serial killers who brag in prison about their victims and whatnot.

Since no one in this thread wanted to give me a source on where the pedophile allegations came from, I decided to do my own investigation with the interest of maintaining the integrity of the thread.

The allegation appears to have originated from a “Pedo hunting” group of Spergs known as the “Republic of the Aero Link Syndacite”.

I’ll let their channel description speak for itself:

The allegation comes from their (now deleted) “Emergency Podcast”, which was about Guardbro, which has been archived right here. At this point, I have no doubt that they’d be behind the vague 4Chan post accusing Guard of being a pedophile (until I’m shown evidence to the contrary).

At a glance, there isn’t anything interesting about this group. They seem like a bunch of grifters who aren’t interested in actually catching predators, but just larp as pedo hunters.

But here’s where things get interesting:
One of the people who spearheaded this group is a self confessed zoophile AND a pedophile. Thankfully, archived.

I thought I’d share my findings here, since I don’t think these people are relevant enough to have their own thread on here.

You gonna do his Godawful TTRPG too? I read it once, posted it here on an account I lost access to, and never looked back on it. I'm curious to see what other people think about it

Doing more work than OP to find something apart from a few discord screenshots. Screenshots that have someone's username scribbled out too, curious.

I still think the whole thing stinks of spergs mad at spergs over their ttrpg fantasy games, mixed in with some discord drama and the general autism that comes from building communities centered around 4chan.

To be fair, there are some pretty good tripfags, such as Fabricator General Scriptarius.

Got any highlights? Haven't checked the TTRPG itself, only my man's review on the book.

Would be unsurprising if this was overblown, but he's still weird as all hell and probably shouldn't be near kids. If not for outright pedophilia then for the weird shit he does, talks about, and has around his house.

What kinda weird shit does he do, talk about and have around his house? He doesn't seem that much worse or better than anyone else that spergs over ttrpg shit, but the way some of y'all talk about him makes me think you either got personal beef with him or just hopped on some hate bandwagon to try and seem cool.

Well...
>Has a lewd centaur body pillow (why?) and other coomer shit potentially in front of his kid
>Draws (not sure if he still does) porn potentially in front of his kid (like that pony one)
>Might be a brony and...we all know what kind of creatures those tend to be
>Wore a maid outfit and who knows if his kid saw it
Probably missed some stuff from the thread, I do say potentially since he might not be autistic enough to keep it in view of his child but who knows.
personal beef
I'd imagine some are rightfully upset that a podcast they're interested in (Neckbeardia) is invaded by a potential sex-pest. Some just don't like him and how much of a pseudo-intellectual he is and are willing to jump at the opportunity to shit on him. I'm in both camps. I found him entertaining but after a while his sperging was a bit much, especially on subjects he thinks he knows a lot about. MF thinks America can take on a Space Marine chapter for example, and considering how highly he thinks of himself and his work (which we know is shit if @Lieutenant Rasczak's summary is anything to go by) he seems more like a larping grifter that missed out on all the nerd shit from back in the day and is pretending to have been apart of that to fit in. You can probably show him the Rifts TTRPG and he'll shit himself.
