Thread about Reddit results in a debate about child pornography
Truly a diseased thread. The (child) porn defense brigade swarmed out in full force.
I always have to think about one of those „interview with a drug kingpin“ style documentations I once watched. Some kind of guy who did 20 years for international drug trade talked shop, and he brought all the same arguments that are made here, you can never outlaw something totally, there will always be gaps in the system, prohibition is actually good for criminals, all that shit.
Half an hour down the line, he casually made a remark along the lines of „yeah so we basically smuggled into every country except Indonesia and such because there’s the death penalty on drugs“.
Lmao okay dude. When that shit backfires and Liz Fong Jones successfully uses those same levers of power to shut down the Kiwi Farms and every other site you like, don't say you weren't warned.
We’re already hanging on by a thread, and that is the grace and dedication of one single autistic spiteful feeding fetishist.
It did not need a single law for that, Kiwifarms didn’t break any.
Why do they still let Pornhub operate after these countless human trafficking and child porn scandals?
Why can any 12 year old access the most soul crushing pornography in a few accidental misclicks, but our tech overlords care more about censoring crime and immigration statistics?
Why do I have to give up all of my privacy to get a fucking gmail account, but to enter Pornhub all you have to do is click a button?
Why does putting „bestiality porn“ into google yield a page full of stuff that is illegal in most of the civilised world, but Kiwifarms is shadowbanned for most search terms (unless you explicitly add „kiwifarms“) and stuff like The Daily Stormer is completely unfindable?
They’re already doing everything they can to get rid of our little gossip board, so I dont really care if any law could possibly perhaps give them more ammunition if it means living in a less sick society.
