From my understanding of all of this, foodists might've gotten knowledge of who Ruben is and what he does through his presence on the sharty (foodists have been seen on that site before many times). Being the """ironic pedos""" they are, they thought it would be pretty funny to spam antiruben people with zoosadist content in order to them to evoke even more disgust at ruben's community, knowing that they would make the false connection when they see these traumatizing videos. Again, a huge factor behind all of this is the timing of major criticism and the spam for them to make the false connection. It still is hate towards the critics, but not by the same people they are criticizing.
This sort of emotional manipulation seemed to work very well for them, and it would certainly be aimed for when the foodists (or any pedophilic circle, for that matter), are subjected to vigilantism. It's essentially their tactic at bringing ruben down even more, driving in the rumor that 'his followers are what they're against'.
Again, if a fishcuck or antiruben is reading this, please take 5 minutes to see past our opposing politics and look into this article. I absolutely promise it will make sense to you. It's not a conspiracy theory and it's not a difficult concept to grasp.
