Alternatively it could demoralise them to the point of no return. Lawfare was all they had left to accomplish that aim, Trump is more-or-less immune to scandal, and now the Supreme Court have effectively killed any prospect of prosecuting him stone dead.

A dozen paid operatives registered with Arizona’s secretary of state on Sunday to collect signatures on behalf of left-wing presidential candidate Cornel West, listing their employer as a Republican-leaning firm that recently worked for GOP House candidate Blake Masters.

Arizona, unlike most states, requires paid or out-of-state petition-gatherers to register with the state. On their public registrations, some of circulators working to help West get on the ballot in Arizona struggled to spell his name, listing it as “Carnel west” or “Cornelle West.”

All checked boxes indicating they are out of state and that they are being paid. All listed Wells Marketing LLC — or some variation, with a few misspellings — as the company they are working for.

It’s unclear who is paying them. Wells Marketing did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

“The Democratic Party & the mainstream media are fabricating stories about us having ties to GOP operatives. False!" West campaign spokesperson Edwin DeJesus said. "We’re not hiring Republicans or Democrats. This is a clear smear because we’re championing workers, while they protect the interests of the wealthy elite."

“They falsely claim we’re aiding Trump to discredit us, but we stand with poor and working people,” he added.

It still looks like there's a ton of infighting and leaks and speculation about whether Biden is gonna stay in or not. If they're gonna replace him. If he's gonna lose donors, etc.

They're not even unified on if Joe should drop out or not with so many claiming he doesn't have the country's best interest in mind if he doesn't drop out.

They have to first settle all of this before the left has anything to unify behind.

Just because a bunch of twitter jackasses aren't talking about it doesn't mean the 50 million or so people who watched the debate have forgotten about that senile old man. The carefully cultivated view that biden wasn't a stumbling mush for brains fool has been shattered. Every time one of those 50 million people see or hear about joe, that debate performance is going to jump straight to the front of their minds. They are going to be looking for every little act of his that paints him as senile. Any lies that Biden is in fact not senile or unfit for office is only going to compound that he is.

Remember, biden only won last time by the thinnest of margins. Arizona, Georgia, and Wisconsin were all won by joe by less than a percent. 43,000 votes total. So long as Trump doesn't lose any states and gains those three he wins.

Thomas going ‘Jack Smith does not seem legal’ screams that everything will die when the SC gets it. Republicans know what the Dems have done and are clearly pissed.

And honestly the desent seems so bad, almost like they are going through the motions. Like they are doing so because they kniw the 6 others will make sure nothing bad happens and give them coverage for theatre.

Newsom term limits out of being able to be governor at the end of his current term and all of the Congressional seats in California are locked up. Technically he has no where BUT out of California to go if he wants to keep being a politician.

As for the real reasons he is "noping" out of replacing Biden in 2024? Both the logistical reason that whoever replaces Biden is fucked and will lose, but also because he NEEDS the next four years to try his damnest to memory hole all of the beyond the pale evil shit he did to California and how he turned California into a third world dystopia and rebrand himself a "sane centrist" to the rubes who haven't been keeping up with the helltopia Newsom turned California into.
