Now some of you might think that folks would exploit that to draw something crotchy, my uncle drew anthropomorphic cats on his in a van outside my school.

I recognize that runner game one, back in 2022 that a bunch of rat/ea crossover guys were flashing words to one of the sequences over the footage. Maybe there was audio too but it was way too much stimulation for me and I clicked off.

I don't think I ever saw my uncle again after that.
Anyways, Nintendo realized that messaging is no good when you're in the same room, which means that it's limited to the deaf, and it wouldn't be a good look for the 3DS to only h ave Pictochat. Come on, it's the future of gaming, with actually good WiFi so you can play online with friends, there has to be a way to talk without being 5 centimeters apart! So in came SwapNote, or Nintendo Letter Box if you don't live in Ohio. Yep, we have the glory of a different name. Anyways, look I got a message!

Yup, around 2 years after release, SwapNote had ended support. I wonder why. Hey, at least less children won't be scarred for life anymore. That doesn't mean that Nintendo wouldn't try again though.
