I'm a weeaboo and know this topic. He definitely calls himself Trixie after Beatrice from Umineko, the witch that masterminds a mansion murder-mystery style massacre of a wealthy Japanese family on their private family island in the 1980s.

It's a visual novel comprised of 8 episodes where you go through the same basic event of the family being killed off one by one over the course of a night in each episode. The details play out differently each time, and after the 1st or 2nd episode the protagonist is transported to a higher metaphysical plane of existence with Beatrice to engage her in a battle of wits with the island mansion murders as the chessboard they play with, the protagonist's goal being to prove how the murders were committed by a normal human without supernatural powers, and to prove that magic and witches don't exist. Beatrice's goal is to demonstrate the impossibility of any natural explanation and that the murders could only have been committed with magic. If the protagonist wins, everyone survives. If Beatrice wins, everyone dies. (it's actually a lot more convoluted than that but it's been years since I read them and have forgotten many details. it's extremely engaging if you're an autist and retarded bullshit if you're a normie.)

If you've ever played Phoenix Wright, it's actually somewhat similar. Lots of people pointing and shouting evidence at each other to contradict each other's arguments.

Funny how that works, my first post on my old account was also to explain that he accidentally picked the masculine form of the adjective. For a woman it should be Déracinée with two "e"s. Then again, it's not a real person's name in French either way.

the real Beatrice is basically a David Reimer reference who had his genitals smashed after being tossed off a cliff as an infant, and was raised as a girl as a result, only discovering the truth in their teenage years when they noticed they weren't developing properly. The revelation of their fucked up sexless body is part of what pushes them over the edge to plotting to murder their entire fucked up family

I think this is kind of what Digi, and most weebs, do though. I think he just imprints on a character he thinks looks cool, or looks how he wants people to see him (Beatrice, the criminal mastermind, not Digi, the loser who has no control over the narrative). As someone who does not have the time nor patience to read Umineko but has been spoiled to it anyway, it's worth pointing out that the individual behind Beatrice's true identity could be construed as transgender, but without spoiling anything too much, the issue is a lot more complicated than muh dysphoria. Obviously Digi is too weedbrained to get nuance anymore and simply sees what he wants to see, because the reality of Beatrice's story is super fucked up.

The "golden witch" is a title held by Beatrice from Umineko, and Umineko Beatrice also goes by "Beato" for short as a nickname. Digi clearly was probably thinking like "trixie" or some shit because 'haha other half of name" but it's tied to a completely different pronunciation of Beatrice. It's not "beatrix" or "bee-trice" type trixie tends to be a nickname form of. The horse connection is possibly a coincidence or an attempt at a failed dual reference.
