Yeah I just take a sample ~40-50s long and upload it. Then you extend off of the sample and it will keep the same pattern. For instance, here is the Gorillaz singing your song


You can also use it to make subpar joshcore

It only lets you upload a 60-second snippet so it's pretty hit or miss depending on the genre. If you can fit the hook and most of a verse into 60 seconds then it does an incredible job.

Still can't figure out shit like Miami Bass though.

If there's something udio has over suno, from my experience, it's the variety with singers.
With rock songs, I tend to get similar sounding synthetic voices.
While messing around, I managed to make something that sounds like a knockoff AC/DC song. I used these tags: Metal, Hard rock, 80s rock, Energetic, Electric guitar, Drums, Male vocalist

And here, someone made something that reminds me of Nirvana:

With that, I took a familiar song from the 2000s. It's from a very popular rock band.
I'm not naming it directly because holy shit, this result is making me laugh a lot. I'm also realizing that suno is probably going to get fucked hard in that lawsuit. These two things combined made me lose my shit when hearing this generated song.

So, there are ways to get copyrighted songs in there. I had to split the vocals and instrumentals, and the edit them together (with a program called audacity) in a way that's different from the original song. I went with the first few seconds just being the isolated vocals, then the remainder was the instrumental sample. All of that to get AI Dave Grohl to sing that pasta.

Is the upload audio feature still worth it? I know the rules of the site explicitly forbid using audio that isn't your own, but what really happens if you upload say a Kavinsky song as a base or from any artist? Account suspension?
