The argument to not dismiss would be that the jury would have convicted had this evidence not existed. Normally you’d have to have the jury come in, give testimony, and stuff like that (or more likely just dismiss/mistrial). But this is a clownworld trial so who knows what would happen.

This is a bit outside of my extent of legal knowledge so I’m kind of talking out of my ass, but there is a lot of uncharted legal territory. It’s crazy.

I'm pretty sure all the checks used as evidence in the Bragg case were dated 2017. The "hush-money" accusation was to keep her quiet for the re-election not the first one. For some reason those nuggets weren't very widely reported.

I know there's no real evidence, but all that does check out. More importantly, it explains why Whitmer keeps getting mentioned, when in reality she's practically a no-name to normies.

She's worse than a no-name. She was one of the strictest lockdowners out there with a phonebook-length list of executive overstepping.

Please, for the love of god, run Whitmer. We can play attack ads that are just her public opinions all the way through 2022 without editing. As for Newsom, we can just run a live CCTV stream of any street in downtown San Francisco or LA.

It's too early to predict this but I have a feeling that a number of delegates who don't automatically get committee funds to help pay for air and hotel to Chicago might not even turn up.

That city in summertime is absolutely awful.

I don't think it's going to be chaos, there's no window of hope for a fix to any of this. It's going to be as exciting as flying to Milwaukee to sit a multi-day income tax seminar.

The thing she is most likely to be known by most people is also a literal a-log glownigger OP where the FBI faked a kidnapping plot on her using a bunch of midwits they entrapped in a "militia" that was over 50% feds.

It's another case of massive out of touch DNC leadership insanity.

Well there goes any assurances it was scheduled to make the "convicted felon" soundbite as bad as possible before Republicans could hypothetically replace him.
Moving it to the end of July, after both parties' conventions, is the ultimate "oh shit maybe we overreached, none of this worked, let's see where the wind is blowing" kind of move. Merchan is now feeling his seat warming up and fears it.

The Republican convention is on the 15th, the Democrat convention isn't until the end of August. That's why they had the whole palaver about the Ohio ballot
