Not that you should engage in illegal protests, but protests are about pissed off people airing their grievance, so that you have to ask for permission was always cuck behavior. Yeah, yeah, public safety, but the Left doesn't care about that.

No, protests are about the government using the fear of violence to cow the people into letting it do what it wants. When the government doesn't want protests to happen, batons are applied to skulls until the protest is over.

So many cops in Chicongo have quit since the 2020 race riots that they barely have a skeleton force, and those that remain are completely demotivated. The local DAs are all Soros plants that refuse to prosecute criminals, but love to try cops for murder when they ventilate a chimp in the middle of a stabbing spree. Combined, this makes Chicago a prime zone for 'spontaneous mass violence' like out of control protests and looting sprees.

The 'local authorities' are logistically and ideologically unable to control mass unrest in the city. I can imagine the fat faggot Governor might try to call in state police, or cops from other cities, but they aren't going to give a shit about actually doing anything. Its not their town, first of all, and second they know that they'll be thrown under the bus in a picosecond for optics. The days of steely eyed mayors and cops spraying rioters with water cannons is gone, forever.

The only thing that threatens the ability for the hordes to mobilize is funding, since the Democrats can actually cut that off pretty easily. Probably.
Seattle PD is at something like 60% of their minimum force, and I think the starting wage is above 90k/year. Don't despair, though. They came up with a great solution. They're changing the laws so illegal immigrants can be cops.

The thing is, they cannot copy Biden's playbook. If they do then the last thing anyone remembers of either is the failure of a debate and Biden bowing out. That's all they will remember and its all that will be fresh in their minds come time to vote. Whoever might replace Biden -has- to go on a full press tour to convince people to forget all about that.

No, what the massaged numbers are is something even more stupid. They are combining the pre-primary election numbers with "Generic Democrat" to make a "Theoretical Run". A quick check for all of them shows they are all that sort of hazy math. It is the gaseous of gaslighting.
Which is fascinating in and of itself, because it indicates that, once again, they've gotten high on their own supply. They do this falsified public opinion cascade all the fucking time with blatantly cooked statistics, but this time they're trying to use them against their own with absolutely no self-awareness.

I meant more the undecideds, none of the events in the last week changed many Republican or Democrats minds.
Undecideds aren't real. They know who they're going to vote for, they just like to play coy so they get attention. If they're undecided on anything, it's whether or not to vote at all.

I'm amazed they don't just host it in New York or DC. I know both of them are Dem shitholes, but I wokred in Manhattan for the last few years. It's going downhill drastically, and there's a terminal nigger and homeless problem (not to mention a metric fuckton of aimless and shambling illegal immigrants), but the NYPD is at least better staffed than the Chicago PD. They're garbage cops, but they're ostensibly present.

That being said, I'm not sure that's something they're allowed to do. Maybe one of you niggers can shine some light on that for me.

if joe drops from the race he has to resign the presidency otherwise it is nakedly political. the only real option for a replacement is Harris because she would inherit the hundreds of millions their campaign has and none of the other prospective candidates want to run with this millstone around their neck.

Harris will lose of course. all Trump would have to do is ask her "how much did you know, When did you know and why did you cover it up?" thus tying bidens dementia to her. and we can't forget that cackle of hers. plus she is as dumb as dog shit and drunk most of the time.

If you were Gavin Newswome, gretchen whitmer, pritzker or whoever else would you want to take biden's place? its suicide.

The convention is going to be certified kino. three quarters of the party want Biden gone and all those delegates are going to have to go on that floor and nominate him against their will. how much you want to bet some of them take the opportunity when the camera comes around to comment about how this nomination is under duress, or comment about palastine or something else. plus the riots outside. just imagine boos filling the hall every time a state pledges it's delegates.

we are going to be eating good boys!

Chicago beat out Atlanta, Houston and New York to host the convention this year. Having it there was advocated by a "wide range of midwestern Democrats who represent the diversity of the party" apparently. There is a possibility they can't pull out even if they want to due to contractual and political obligations with the city.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but as a dumbass American whos been lied to by the media for decades, I dont even know where to start when it comes to researching candidates, especially for lower level positions like local stuff.

How do you guys go about finding info about candidates and honestly just find out political stuff in general? It feels like any time I ask this question on more normie media I just get "Do your own research" but its like.. how do you FIND said research? Especially when its obvious MSM lies to you at every turn.

I expected the debate to be bad but how bad it was was an eye opener for me to try and get myself more educated for once Novemeber comes
The good news is that in this day and age, all you really need to do is to avoid voting for anyone with the D next to their name. It's that simple. Sometimes you'll probably want to vote for a 3rd party candidate rather than the R if the R is a backstabber who helps the D's, but as long as you're not voting D you're doing fine.

Choosing who to vote for these days has become a no brainer thanks to the escalations of neoliberals and their 'democratic socialist' allies.

Admitting that Chicago has a nigger problem would be racist and so they will avoid doing so. Plus everyone has private security.

I never even speculated that the debate would go this bad, so I doubt I'll be able to predict how the thing in Chicago will go down. A new summer of love would be hilarious though. Part of me is concerned that there will be an attempt to suspend elections, which ould really not go well.

The "diversity of the party" is what led us to having an actually dementia patient as the president.

We get to watch the rich bougie libs and antisocial dipshit ACAB types eat each other, while the cops get hardcore redpilled.
Only good can come of this. Well, locally maybe a lot of bad, but for everyone gathered around the bonfire it'll be a fun yarn.
They're also expanding it to dreamers, not every illegal, so it's more like a shitton of glorified anchor babies get to be cops.

Wait. We're set up for the first disastrously contentious convention since the infamous 1968 riots... and it's Democrats in Chicago again?!?

If we get riots again, we are officially being trolled by the Simulation.

They hosted it in Chicago because Pritzker bankrolled the convention.
Pritzker, allies to DNC: We’ll cover the bill — if Chicago gets the ’24 convention (archive.ph)
There are other more detailed articles after it was announced, but it all comes down to funds.
It's all a case of Dems refusing to learn from history. Good governance would have prevented the possibility of riots. That requires being grounded in reality, so they can't do it.

I would love to see ANTIFA vs. national guard, but I'm pretty sure we're not going to get that.

There were constant protests at the 2016 convention but MSM kept them under wraps except for when the Bernie delegates stormed out because they were pissed over the DNC emails put out by Wikileaks and being brushed off, pushed off the policy committee, etc. In that cycle the Democrats presumed they would still have power.

That's gone now. IDK the pro-Palestine protesters are so desperate for attention that they are crashing pride parades they'll probably set up a tent city.

Chicago gets to 95F and super humid this time of year, they are going to smell.

When you mentioned that group, I just realized that the convention is the third week of August and on the first week of September, Fall classes start at Columbia and others on the East Coast. It will be fun to see how hard they will come down on their golem.

Doug Burgum is getting attention for his past actions and remarks as Republicans await Trump's VP pick.

FLASHBACK: Doug Burgum said ‘We are at war with Russia, we just haven’t sent troops yet’

In a 2023 interview with Forbes, North Dakota Governor and Trump VP hopeful Doug Burgum said that United States is "actually at war with Russia." He also went so far as to call the billions upon billions of dollars sent to Ukraine by the Biden administration a "bargain."
Per Forbes: "When it comes to sending Ukraine military aid, Burgum points to Ukraine’s ability to have already taken 'out a huge chunk of [Russia’s] capability,' adding, 'I don’t call that irresponsible spending, I call that a bargain.'"

Burgum stated "We’re in a cold war with China, and we’re actually at war with Russia–we just haven’t sent troops yet. We’re sending material, we’re sending funding, we’re sending advisors."

Burgum also expressed skepticism over Republican attempts to tie Ukraine aid to border security. "We can help Ukraine beat Russia and we can secure our own border at the same time," he said.

Over at the American Conservative, Curt Mills points out that Burgum has other neocon tendencies. "It’s not just Eurasia that Burgum wants troops, but also that old standby: the Middle East. Burgum has been open to placing American troops in the maelstrom of the Israel-Gaza war. 'Absolutely,' Burgum told voters in 2023."

Pulling no punches, Mills writes: "The true rift in American national security debate is between cocksure primacy and chastened restraint. Either you believe the last quarter century of American foreign policy has been ruinous, or you seek to double down. Whatever his other virtues, Doug Burgum would be another neoconservative in power."

Burgum is a former Microsoft executive whose 2016 campaign was boosted by the tune of $100,000 by Bill Gates. In 2022, Gates raised red flags throughout North Dakota by purchasing 2,100 acres of land in the state. At the time of the sale, Burgum declined to comment, according to the AP.

North Dakotans and family farm advocates remain furious over the controversial land purchase.

Despite cozying up to MAGA in recent months, Burgum once vowed that he would never do business with President Trump. "I don't think so. I just think that it’s important that you’re judged by the company you keep," Burgum said to Chuck Todd.

Burgum has since reversed course, and now makes media appearances praising Trump as he jockeys for position.
