Am I the only Kiwi trying to be a hyperpolyglot? - I felt pretty shitty being monolingual so I wanted to change things a bit and by a bit, I mean a lot.

So far I am learning Spanish, Russian, and Japanese at higher priority and French, German, Arabic, Mandarin, Turkish and Korean at lower priority to avoid mixing them up and confusing them and overloading. I'm hoping to be fluent in the languages in about 10 years give or take 2. I just recently gained a massive interest in learning new languages because it's just really fun knowing about different writing systems, different sounds and cultures. I know it's impossible learning all a thousand languages so I just picked the most important ones to me and I am really patient in my language learning process. I learn them at my own pace with patience but it's really rewarding every progress you make.

I really started to become a dedicated language learner and so far I can make sentences in Spanish as well as a few sentences in Russian and Japanese. I may not reach my objective in any mark but hey. It's the thought that counts.

Get a job.
As a translator. Sure.

I know enough Spanish and French to be able to converse ok but I'm by no means great at either, and I know ASL. That's enough for me. I have always wanted to learn Russian, but I think it's beyond my retard brain.
Nah, Russian is fairly easy to me as it is for anyone who knows Spanish and French.

Care to elaborate? Russian isn't a Romance language (at least not outside a foxhole); with the Greek or Latin-derived words only being taken on with Christianity.
I know Russian isn't romance but it still has influence from Latin like Spanish did though Russian is written in Cyrillic and is a slavic language.

I always mix french with spanish and german.
The results are usually something hilarious along the lines of "Bonjour Ich nicht haben die jamon para el desayuno"
My croat is even worse.
I just start speaking german
The croats do actually answer back in kind and seem to enjoy it weirdly enough

Also I know zero grammar outside of Italian and english

You're a retard with social media brain.
Stuff is fun and rewarding now because you've only touched the very easiest beginner content for every language you're trying to 'learn'. The reason no one learns 10 languages at once is because noone has the time to learn and study multiple languages to proficiency, and shit starts getting mixed up for similar languages. Once you get past the fun early parts, it becomes a grind. But you'll give up long before that for your next instant gratification hobby.

I figured this may be a possibility so this is why I set a reasonable limit.

i do not like being monolingual and have tried to learn a few languages over the years but never manage to get far. im just too language retarded to get to anything close to conversational in another language. closest i got was second year of spanish in HS but living in america has made me hate the spanish language and spnaish speakers. i have no interest in going back to that language.

Honestly Spanish is my most favorite language and one I wanted to learn the most. Even if I don't get very far after 10 years I still refuse to quit because I honestly find it interesting to discover other things in the language than discover nothing at all. And to me, I had the most fun with that language. I can tell you the people in Mexico behave a lot better than the illegals who fled into America.
