Judge blew his load too early on this. It'll be escalated rapidly to a higher court. This would have been something to scramble about in late August or early September with just enough time to have an effect on November's ballot.
Just given how much shit activist judges have been eating in '24 makes me think that this too will end in a slapped face. Gimme rainbows for sure.

... Right? I mean, obviously, the constitution is clear and the Judge doesn't have authority to do this, so the proper response is a nice, polite, but firm, "fuck off you retarded idiot."

Her supporters call her "Big Gretch" and used it to cheer her on as she gleefully attacked citizens and small business owners. She loves it.
She's also known for helping steal 2020 (even got a trip to Biden's installation for it), putting covid patients into nursing homes and killing many elderly, leaving the upper half of the state unrestricted so she could vacation there and not have to deal with her own lockdowns, using taxpayer money to build a massive security fence around her personal home so nobody could interrupt her little tyrannical fun time, personally trying to destroy the life of an elderly barber who dared to not let her take away his livelihood, and many other things in addition to being a creepily uncanny Caitlyn Jenner doppelgänger.

I think they kept Biden's mental decline close to the chest -- Jill obviously knew he was a potato brained retard based on how she talks to him. (The woman fucking hates him, it's amazing to see.) Probably some WH insiders know, but not the entire WH staff. Probably a few people with their hand up the puppet's ass, their direct staff, and that's it. Everyone else probably hardly ever sees the man.
I do believe they thought that a combination of Biden doing such an oh so bang up awesome job + Trump being hobbled by fake scandals would bring him within rigging distance in November. Yes, they rigged it in 2020. Yes, they know they did. The party insiders absolutely know, Biden's reelection team absolutely know. That's why they weren't worried -- they thought they didn't actually have to win an election anymore to hold onto power. The controlled American media's entire job was to smooth this shit over.
Biden's debate performance has shattered all illusions. Everyone in the party knows that Biden's brain is a potato. The insiders and Team Biden also absolutely have internal numbers that show rigging is off the table. The normies know. The media can't cover for it and at least initially weren't even trying. It's over.
So what do they do?
Option 1: They let him run, and he loses.
Option 2: They have him resign in disgrace, and Kamala loses.
Option 3: They kill him, and hope the sympathy vote pushes Kamala / Clinton or Kamala / Obama or whoever over the finish line.
Option 4: They replace him at the convention, hope that the GOPe just agrees not to fight the legal bullshit they'll have to do to change the ballots now. Whomever they get to replace him loses and their career is over.
I personally think they're going to get real, REAL desperate over the next few weeks as internal polling just destroys any additional illusions they might have. That's when shit's going to get dangerous, because they're going to start trying to think "outside the box" to prevent an election loss + ensure they get as much of their medium term plans in place before they lose control again.
Shoving us into a new foreverwar. Signing a treaty -- one thing that overrules everything Congress and the Judiciary and the Executive is an international treaty -- to force Trump's hand at something. (A treaty with Mexico where we agree to never secure the border, for example.) Packing SCOTUS as fast as possible. Etc etc. Or they decide the only way out is to stop Trump -- so, jail him for his "crimes," or outright [REDACTED] him.
Longer term, if they were smart they'd do their favorite little tactic -- weaponized projection. A fake scandal where they "discover" a bunch of pre-filled out Trump ballots in a Russian shipping container, for example. That would give the left a new alternate reality to believe in -- Trump CHEATED!!!!!!!!!! -- until 2028, while also draining any and all of Trump's political capital.
But, Gretchen specifically? No, she has no reason to do so. Anyone they nominate -- IF they can get DOKTOR Jill Biden and Hunter Biden to give up control of the potato puppet long enough to have him resign -- is going to sacrifice their career by being his replacement. None of them are going to do that. Kamala is in an especially fun place because she's the sacrifice by default if Biden dies or resigns. Maybe she goes rogue in response; that would be funny.

As an aside, if they find a way to be rid of the "Trump problem" you'll see every DNC rat alive leaping over each other to try and be Biden's replacement. The one way this works out for them is if Trump is off the table -- something they knew, which is why the SCOTUS ruling on immunity set them off so bad. With no Trump they can, MAYBE, replace Biden without it being an instant loss. It would still be very harmful, still be close and probably require rigging, but if the GOPe pretends to be unable to replace Trump with another candidate, or pushes forth someone unelectable, then Biden being removed might just become a wash.

I'm a Snownigger from Canuckistan.
I was at a Canada Day party on July 1 (our national holiday). Everybody there was rabidly Liberal and have been for their entire lives, and if Trudeau is in charge they simply are not going to vote at all, despite being fanatically Liberal Party people. They will never vote NDP or Conservative, so in a riding which has never NOT been Liberal, I'm not seeing them having any chance. The Canada Day party was mainly with NGOs, government employees, professors, small to medium business owners, international trade fixers, shit like that. We talked about the US presidential debate and the aftermath. The majority of people said that they hope Trump wins over Biden, despite the fact that if I said this in this in their company a year ago, they would have never talked to me again.
Anyhow, to the Dem issue.
I think Biden will still be the guy. If he isn't who?
Kamala Harris? No chance. ZERO chance. Tulsi Gabbard castrated her with a sentence. Plus, she is offensively unlikeable. She is less likeable than cancer.
Buttigieg? He might be stupid enough to try. He has already failed and cannot recover in the future, so why the fuck not?
Newsom? I believe he's that arrogant, but I don't believe he's that stupid. If this was happening six months ago, he'd be in as their candidate. He's not so stupid to permanently fuck up his own grift.
Whitmer? She always looks like she just smoked a $40 piece of rock to recover from being gangbanged and has one of the most Hitler-esque vibes of any US politician.
Pritzker? Possibly. Maybe likely.
Michael Obama? She won't do it.
Killary? I don't think she will. She got castrated the first time. At this point, I think she knows she would actually suicide herself instead of other people if she lost.
Sherod Brown? Maybe.
Bernie? They've shown they won't back him, and he is having some of the same mental decay Biden has.
So who else?
I don't even know if this is possible, but they might try to bring RFK Jr. back into the fold. I doubt that's possible, but it's ClownWorld.

At the end of the day, the party should have gone with the Lady Surfer Milkbags for 2020, but they burned that bridge, river, city, and everything else for slapping Harris upside her stupidity. I personally think she should be selected by Trump as his VP. He might lose a couple of Republicans, but I think he would gain a lot of independents if he selected Gabbard. Hius best VP choice IMO would be (actual DOCTOR) Carson.

I thought they said that the convention would be some kind of 'hybrid online' convention a few weeks back. I dont know if that extends to the actual nomination portion of it but it would be really bad optics to have some giant zoom call from a bunch of different states where all of the delegates just happen to decide to all support biden. would leave a lot of people feeling snaked.
The last online convention they did was fucking embarrassing too, it was nothing but awful celebrity videos.
i think the most likely scenario is replacing harris
