While this situation is absolutely his own fault and PO boxes are piss cheap, they're not THAT cheap. They're typically closer to $20 a month at the official post office (usually leased at discount for multi-month periods); the private companies that offer them are roughly the same.

i think it has more to do with him being in permanent pity mode. it is how he hopes to get anywhere. he tries to use pity to get celebrity women like ariana grande to date him, he tries to use pity to get people to like his music, he even tries to use pity to get free sex out of vegas hookers. i think he is banking on the judge showing him pity to rule in his favor.
