Our favorite BPD ogre has officially gone off the deep end ever since he got out of the psych ward. He had a balding scare and SHAVED HIS HEAD and is talking about living out of his car after his mom sells their house. The women who were bound to their village due to lack of prospect of getting out of circle of being lesser than man agreed for marriage arranged by their guardians. This was working until the social mobility of industrial revolution amassed and women had a choice to stay in village and marry some disfigured 40-year-old incel who was last bachelor in proximity or move to the city, find a job as a guardian or in factory and chose for herself the best bachelor the world has to offer. Since then the numbers of unmarried men increased. Especially in villages due to their bound with inheritance of farms left by their fathers.
Now, women still had boundaries set for millennia in society but, again, new movements like suffragettes and later feminism allowed them not only to gain equality with men but also the possibility to stay unmarried. As such was before unthinkable and women would be marginalized in society, now become tolerated and even acceptable. This leads us to modern times when most of people live in cities where women have a choice and men who were relevant for arrange marriage and, as a party, more beneficial mainly due to be a sole income deliver which also provides advantage of power in household.

Thus incels who didn't have to be charming and flattering to women of their desire but could just buy a wife or talk with guardian of maiden in village for arrange marriage became useless.

Well to be fair, with the advent of feminism and women empowerment all metrics for dating, marriage and child birth have gone down. Sure there are more incels but there are also more women uninterest and/or looking for a man of equal and higher status. I think an underappreciate aspect of society is the fact that women's expectations for male partners hasn't' changed at all despite women outpacing in education by an ever growing margin. Like right now the divide between men and women in college is worse that it was in the 1970s when women campaigned for Title IX protections. There are large groups of women that attaint post-secondary education, earn six figure salaries and have high status position refuse to date down. Now to be fair, most people throughout the world only date within their economic class and that holds true, but their really isn't a define economic class since everything is so stratified and people can drastically shift between by going to college. Really for middle class people the division of class is between college educated and non college educated which stratified them into two different economic subclasses and it heavily skews towards women, this leaves a decent population of women with no economic counterpart and unwilling to date lower economic classes, while this isn't a problem for men at all. That has a pretty detrimental effect for both men and women but nobody will care about it until 30 years from no women are still complaining about no good men.

TLDR: Modern women severely outclass men in education and thus economic and social status and refuse to date down

I'm going to try to be as objective as possible here; I could see why there's an increase in the number of incels. Other that what was stated in the posts directly above mine, I think the biggest reason why they're made fun of is not for the fact that they can't get laid, it's because of the behaviors associated with them not being able to get laid, such as making a bunch of videos about how they're treated a certain way because their jawline falls below a certain level of centimeters. They also tie their entire identity to their inability to get laid.

One thing that I find hypocritical about most incels (which is something often overlooked) is that they constantly complain about how ugly men are treated when they're usually the most critical when it comes to a woman's looks. A lot of them go as far as treating unattractive women as less than human due to the fact that they don't value women outside of looks and only see them as objects. I knew a few guys in high school who were like that. They'd be polite to the pretty girls, hold the door for them, do favors for them but treated the uglier girls like shit by constantly belittling them and making fun of them.

I've seen guys who aren't conventionally attractive with partners, and it's because they have other redeeming qualities besides their looks that draw people towards them.

Because a majority of incels are on the spectrum, they lack a nuanced perspective on why they're not getting the results they want. They pretty much think it's over for any guy who doesn't look like a Calvin Klein model unless he has as much money as Jeff Bezos. When in reality, looks are subjective for almost any person who's not in an extreme category looks-wise (physical deformities being the biggest example).

However, I think it's more than just lack of looks as to why a lot of these guys aren't getting laid. Let's not forget that social media and the pandemic has caused a lot of isolation, making it less common for people to go outside to meet, also causing people's social skills to decrease. A lot of redpill channels also brainwash men into thinking that all women behave the same, which causes a lot of monolithic views when it comes to dating and relationships.

Society now is also so over sexualized to the point that if any guy is suspected to be a virgin beyond a certain age, he is automatically outed as pathetic and is made fun of, especially in a high school or college/young adult environment. That and the fact that websites such as TikTok and Instagram are filled with thirst traps (often leading to crippling porn addiction) doesn't exactly help men not objectify women.

Kind of an obscure example but a lot of places nowadays are also enforcing segregation of genders solely because of the fact that they see women as a "distraction." Certain schools have a bad male to female ratio in a lot of classrooms because of that and most jobs will put women in a separate department from most of the men. School and work are the biggest avenues to meet mates which is why this can be an issue that contributes to the current levels of inceldom. In my opinion, that causes more issues than solutions, as it causes a lot of men to become incredibly socially awkward around women due to them not being used to being around them.

I know to some of you, some of my statements may seem like I'm splitting hairs, but sometimes it's okay to do that because it allows you to think outside of the box and it leaves more room for decent commentary.

Ahh but I think that's a critical part. Many cultures are very sex-focused. Lots of movies, shows, books about sex are written for pop culture. Plus, these guys probably spend a lot of time watching porn, where they watch other people fuck and seemingly have a great time, dozens or hundreds of clips every time they jerk it. They've probably been doing this voyeuristically since starting puberty. Plus these guys went through high school and college without any experiences.

Regardless of the cause, I wager that some relationship experience or sex experience might give these guys the context to realize that they might not actually be that into sex. Then they can at least see where to go from there.

You're not wrong. I've been to a few college/young adult parties and smoked weed on occasion. It's very fun at first but it gets old fast but I guess you can't knock it until you try it. During the summer I mostly work. I usually attend more social events/parties during the schoolyear.

Even the weird kids in high school got it on too, not as much as the popular kids, but they were definitely getting their freak on, just with girls who weren't very attractive. Most incels don't want to admit that during high school and college, they wanted girls who were out of their league. Most of them would've had something if they had stayed in their lane and dated a chick who was a 4, probably on meds, dyed their hair, had a touch of the 'tism, and was into the same nerdy stuff they were into.

They yearned to live the party life style which is exactly why it's a common grudge among incels to feel like they were "missing out"They were disqualified from getting that chance to live that lifestyle due to the reasons I listed above.

I understand that looks and genetics are out of a person's control but you have to remember that most of the wounds that incels suffer from are self inflicted which is exactly why threads like these still exist.

Like any other stories plotted for culture the visualization of shutins hanging out with Chads is just a fairy tale to feed masses with illusion that our society is on correct tracks and nobody is excluded. Of course it is far from the truth for the stated reasons above and other circumstances for which society is never prepared for i.e. pandemic. The mass culture since its cradle feeds people with this illusion that flaws that exist within society are, in the end, easily and steadily resolved.

It really has nothing to do with how well somebody is dealing with meetings but how incel's interests conjugate with majority of their age group. Some minor variation in wealth, background and experiences may be detrimental on why somebody is considered as an outcast. In any case I would refrain from calling somebody lazy because their exclusion is a result of major problems within society as a whole and not a origin of problem.

I guess we all do agree that inceldom isn't anything new that happened 20- or 50-years-ago but it was embedded within humanity since its cradle. However, in the past times - as my spouse has put it - there were monasteries and ongoing wars where incels could fit in. Either as a chival knight who raped and plunder during wars, or as a ruthless Viking or as a solicit clergymen devoting his sexuality to God by prescribing holy books through his whole life. These were the occupancies that they filled with satisfying results without portraying them as lesser men because they didn't hit the home run in their youth.
