My wife and I have had to deal with CPS twice, once when a former therapist reported us because we switched therapists and our child engaged in self harm, she blamed us for switching therapists. The next was when the same child lied outright about me to her psychologist and psychiatrist. The psychologist was seeing another one of our children and had realized the lie so didn't report it. The psychiatrist did report it.

Why do you have multiple children in counseling in the first place, and what could possibly be motivating them to lie about you, and your wife like that?

I doubt a simple therapist change would be enough of a reason.
