lol cry harder

I was shocked that Trump won, but I was even more shocked by people actually believing that he'd be able to do EVERYTHING he said he would.

Is it even legally possible for him to go through with certain promises?

I think most of his voters only voted for him because they assumed he'd walk back on a lot of the dumb shit he promised. There's not gonna be any outrage if he increases funding for border patrol instead of building a literal concrete wall. As long as he gives people some results on the 'drain the swamp' shit I don't think very many supporters will turn on him.

To be fair, an increase in spending on C&BP wouldn't be a bad idea for either side. Having an actual force of officers as opposed to a dumb fuckin' wall is superior any day of the week.

Plus, my career path may take me there, anyways.

I doubt he'll get much done with the whole "Drain The Swamp!" however.

'About 6:30 this morning she called an old friend,' he said while appearing on 'The Steve Malzberg Show' on Wednesday.

'She was crying, inconsolably. She couldn't stop crying.

'Her friend said — her female friend from way, way, back — said that it was even hard to understand what she was saying, she was crying so hard.

'This is Hillary we're talking about.'

Klein did not reveal who her longtime female friend was during the interview, but he also revealed Clinton apparently blamed FBI Director James Comey for her stunning loss.

'Eventually her friend said she could make out that she was blaming James Comey, the director of the FBI, for her loss — and this I don't understand exactly — and the president of the United States for not doing enough,' Klein stated.

"THANKS OBAMA"

Clinton's memes remained stale right to the end lmfao.

Should this thread also be the one for Trump supporters shocked (shocked!) that he's now "walking back" most of his campaign promises and his transition team is full of DC establishment types and lobbyists?
Making another thread will be better, if only to accommodate another set of tags.

I figure it's pretty improbable, but if he get a term limits for congress amendment even to voting then I consider his win worth it.

Yup, it's already happening. A second salt harvest is coming.

I too am looking forward to the meltdown from the actual dumb racist hillbillies who voted for him without listening to any of his actual speeches/promises and honestly believe that he's going to deport anyone who isn't white when that, well, doesn't happen.

It's just a shame that you'll have to go out to the bait shops, honkey tonks and flea markets of the world to hear them fume about how Trump is secretly a Jew/illuminati/Niggo who went back on all his promises to flay Hillary alive on the National Mall, since these guys aren't quite as fond of social media as SJWs.

But it will still be enjoyable when all the troglodytes realize the light they're basking in right now as they kick over campaign signs in their neighbors yard and yell slurs at people gassing up their cars next to them if they look like they maybe, possibly, once thought about applying for welfare, is all in their heads.

The IRL salt has been insane. My view is obviously going to be distorted as I spend much of my time surrounded by whiny 18-22 year old college students such as myself, but seriously, this is probably the saltiest response to a political event that will ever happen. There are tons of people just not showing up for classes because they're so traumatized by Literally Hitler winning.

Actual dumb racist hillbillies don't vote, because they're usually felons.

Everyone thought Obama would fight corruption, but hey look at all these brand new monopolies worldwide! Never put that much stock in what your favorite candidate does.

Broadband Providers as well as cable television companies were being investigated by the FCC when private buyouts were being made, they got the first word out and it took Obama a little too long to comment on AT&T and Verizon buyouts, the kind that would hurt consumers and force payment plans to change for the worse. Not all buyouts were as bad as my mini-rant would make them out to be, but it's entirely against what Obama envisioned for preventing corporate meandering.

By "Everyone" I mean those who believed every word out of him.

  • Disagree
  • Informative
Reactions: Holdek and Loxiozzz
  • Conservative author Ed Klein say Clinton called one of her friends crying about losing the election to Trump early Wednesday morning
  • He shared the friend is someone Clinton knows from 'way, way back'
  • Klein added that the friend 'said it was even hard to understand what she was saying, she was crying so hard'
  • He also said Clinton apparently blamed FBI Director James Comey for her loss, as he reopened investigation into her emails 11 days before election
How credible is this? Seems to good to be true. How did Klein learn this information? A 'long time friend' just spilled the beans like that? She must be a shit friend and obviously knows it'll get back to Clinton who will be out for her ass.

The imminently likable/respectable Mike Rowe weighed in on the Trump victory by pointing out that the working-class was more apt to support a guy who they feel connected to than another manufactured politician who, when faced with illegal immigrants displacing actual citizens in unskilled labor positions, replies "Eh, real Americans don't want those jobs anyway" because, well, nobody in their prep school class wanted to be an apple-picker or truck driver.

The elite left are so out of touch, they can't even realize a revolt for what it is when it's happening right in front of them.

Of course, the SJW attack bands went after him, "No! it's because they're all RACISTS!!!!!ELEVEN!!!!!!!"

Funny how a nation full of racists can't keep an ACTUAL black man out of the White House for 8 years, but suddenly, they have all the power when a white man is on the ballot... Where exactly did all these millions of secret racists come from in the last 4 years? If they couldn't get off their duff and vote out the huge, black, TARGET of their hate. What could possibly motivate them now?

Something else I hope the RNC and like-minded people recognize from this. Know what also may have contributed to mass appeal this time around that your last 2 candidates didn't have? (and it would've been three in a row if you had run Cruz?)

Trump has never to my knowledge ever said "Because God told me I'm right"

See what happens when you run a guy the common person knows is taking orders from his own brain and not the Bible? People TRUST him.

Time for you to dump the hardcore religious right, because every time you throw them that bone of picking a candidate who is extremely visible in their faith, you lose votes you otherwise had to ensure ones that would never have defected in the first place.... think about it.

I'm already saying "Is America great yet?" to every Trump supporter I know when they hear about this.

IMO, zealots both right and left are idiots. I'd love to put all the SJWs on a remote Antarctic base within a mile of another Antarctic base where we'd stick all of the rightwing fundies. Make the penguins pay for it.

As long as he gives people some results on the 'drain the swamp' shit I don't think very many supporters will turn on him.

Trump better stick to his promise not to mess with Social Security no matter what the Paul Ryan types demand. Even Teabaggers want their own Tugboats one day, and as Eisenhower warned, the first political party that cuts Social Security will have ensured it's own extinction.
