I can't believe how hard Aimee Challenor's neck is to have started up new social media profiles once again under his real identity. But then he's frequently behaved in surprisingly hard necked ways. Kinda wonder what the point is though - there's not really much interaction going on here, it's basically shouting into the void of only a couple of other people.

The wheelchair thing appears to have been going on a while (earliest mastodon tweets in 2022 mention it) and I'm going to assume it's some mix of a gross fetish thing and oppression grifting, since so many people "come out as disabled" after coming out as trans.

I was actually going to post earlier today, but I didn’t want to necro the thread.

I had a 10+ year old Reddit account that was banned during the Challenor arc for using masculine pronouns. I have a mod mail from Reddit explicitly stating it was a permanent suspension.

I checked the account earlier today to reminiscence on when Reddit was good (spoiler: it was never good) and I discovered that my account was no longer banned. I posted on a few subreddits, and sure enough people replied to me. So I’m not even shadow banned.

All of my posts condemning Challenor were removed from my profile though. Not even deleted, just flat removed. Which as far as I’m aware, only happens when a subreddit is deleted. My comments on the degen were in mainstream subreddits. Not any that would’ve been banned.

I wonder if Reddit is in the process of purging the Challenor happenings from their databases, and as part of it, they accidentally/purposely unbanned users who were guilty of hating posting against him?

That’s the only thing that would make sense to me since I never appealed the ban, and as of 1 year ago I explicitly recall the account being perma’ed.

Perhaps Challenor hired LFJ’s company to delete his uncomfortable history?

They rowed back on their Challenor suppression after the UK Politics subreddit mods uncovered the admin censorship and went public with it - took the admins a while to reverse all the bans and then cave.
A rare example of reddit jannys not being totally useless or worse, although the grooming powermods remained in place and unless they got dinged during the reddit shutdown, are probably still there.

I feel another wikipedia admin ArbCom decision is coming (same editor was suspended by the admins for doing shit like this).


I should probably also mention that there is an insane amount of infighting going on in wikipedia on any article related to trans issues. The Cass review talk page is a shitshow for example.
