The campaign would solely be used for sperging about vidya on Twitter if it hadn't become, in their minds, the biggest bogeyman ever (Trump aside). Now nary a week goes by without half a dozen people listing it off as evidence that the internet is too dangerous for strong independent womyn. In the last three days alone, I've seen no less than eight articles declaring that Gamergate is the reason Trump got elected, and/or was in collusion with the FBI to smear Hillary Clinton. Hell, some of the funnier Twitter cows have declared that Trump is part of GG in everything but name (Wu most notably), which makes the whole fucking thing even funnier.
Expect the bulk of Social Justice to become Nora Reed by year's end, screaming about shit nobody cares about into the ether and then declaring how they're being harassed by something that hasn't been aware of their existence in a dog's age.

To impeach a person means to formally charge a government official with misconduct. 1) Trump isn't even a government official yet and 2) being openly homophobic, racist, ect. isn't a crime/misconduct.
