A lot of (especially women) teens and early 20s creatives have been completely bamboozled into thinking making characters fat, dark-skinned and with ethnically ambiguous but ugly features and various blemishes and other weird shit is not only the greatest look but necessary to draw.i dont even think that, i think people are legitimately that strange. like it's usually white liberals who think "well i have to draw them as black or itll be racist to let them know i see all of them as white" or it's black twitter thinking "well they HAVE to be black because i can relate to them" like they did with Mr Krabs recently
They love to convince themselves and others it looks good and they feel morally superior for pretending to enjoy it and enforcing it on others.
I wonder if there's a patient Z hideous blasian they're actually all drawing from because it always looks exactly the same.
