Yep, another certified conservativeterrorism banger.

To be fair, Kazakhstan and pretty much every other country in Central Asia has no real choice but to be either Russia or China's little bitches. The pendulum swings between the two from time to time. They're basically the Monroe Doctrine of either nation.

Immigration does lower wages though. The desperate are the ones who immigrate, which means they are willing to work for a lower wage, which means everyone else must work for the same shitty wage, else they don't have a job.

It's of course excellent for everyone in industry, who won't have to pay as much. I just don't see why we don't encourage people to start families, to improve workforce numbers. I know I already answered my own question.

they always promise massive profits, just don't specify for who.

when you have a melting pot no one can form a single block to fight for their interests either. Its why identity politics is so convenient, break the trust and you just have atomized individuals and minority groups screaming at each other rather than uniting for a common cause.

IQ dropping doesn't matter, think of all the money!

But how long can we sustain the institutions that allow that doubling of GDP with a population of 87 IQ? And the whole fucking book is filled with stuff like this, I came into the book being positively inclined to mass immigration after all look at how well it served the US in later half of the 19th century but the strawmen and the refusal to answer the 'and then what happens next' questions really irritated me and made me walk away less convinced about immigration than when I first read it.
