There may be a few Frankenstein apprentices who fit into this category, but I'd go with the simplest answer: it's (relatively) easy money with few strings attached.

This is what pisses me off about the whole trans race and transgender argument. TRAs will argue with you that being trans is backed by sociology and that a trans person is someone who engages with a gender thats different than their sex. When asked what does that mean, they use sexist stereotypes to prove it. But if someone used a racial stereotype to prove they were the opposite race, suddenly TRAs will state its not the same thing! How does anyone who claims to be "progressive" not see the hypocrisy here?
