And the whole fucking book is filled with stuff like this, I came into the book being positively inclined to mass immigration after all look at how well it served the US in later half of the 19th century but the strawmen and the refusal to answer the 'and then what happens next' questions really irritated me and made me walk away less convinced about immigration than when I first read it.

I'm kind of impressed that the comic brings up IQ and doesn't even try to refute it or bother to call it racist. And then admits the US GDP will drop! The only countries that benefit now from immigration of low skilled third worlders are Gulf States like Qatar that just use them for slave labor in the most exploitative method possible. Put them in a state that actually provides welfare and faces a problem with employing existing workers in industrial blue collar roles and the result is obvious.

I think I've already said this before in another thread but the "Trump will genocide everyone once he gets in office!" shit goes all the way back to 2016.
