The concentration of the ammonia will determine the danger. My dad worked for a big chemical company in the 70s and 80s and they stored 98%+ ammonia on site. There was a minor leak at one point and the handful of people that were in the building all died.

Anhydrous Ammonia is pretty much the pure stuff. Anhydrous means it was taken beyond the usual equilibrium minimum content off water (For example, the reason most of the time you can't find alcohol above 95% is because by that point the water and alcohol are at a equilibrium and boiling off the alcohol doesn't work to concentrate it anymore, while Anhydrous Alcohol would be 100%)

Thankfully this happened in the open, so it all just boiled off and likely no one got gassed. Thankfully as well ammonia is a lot less toxic than the chloride stuff from East Palestine and it isn't likely to poison anything.

Biden will stay until either; Trump gets in, or he dies. You don't change horse mid-race.

I reckon the media will start softly supporting Trump, doing the classic "Trump is a [fascist/nazi/racist] and here's why it's a good thing for American [jobs/wealth/security]."
Nothing will happen if Trump wins. Even the TDS have burned through their tantrum now and just want some warm milk and a nap.

Biden was made orange for a laugh, by a group of dems sick to death of biden.
I don't think they'll ever try to sell Trump as good, but I do think they'll do constant cope posting about "orange man might win, if he does though we will get through it and stop him from doing anything through lawfare again". Their TDS runs too deep to the core for many of them like Madcow or Joe Scarborough to ever say Trump is anything other than evil and dangerous.

The crazy thing about watching Democrats is seeing their absolute unwavering commitment to rewarding party hacks over rewarding competent leadership.

Look at what they consider the field to be for their absolute best Democratic contenders for the presidency.

We've got Gavin Newsom, ruling over a California where the results have been godawful and people are moving out in record numbers, homelessness and immigration issues are ruining more areas than ever before, and literally no one wants their state to look more Californian in its government or social conditions.

There's Gretchen Whitmer, leading Michigan, a state where industry has fled and most people associate its largest cities with criminality among their citizens and vast corruption in local government. In quality of life rankings, it's equivalent to Oklahoma. Michigan has incredible natural beauty and a lot going for it, but this governor insists on vanity projects about parks and preschool when the basics of the economy are left unattended.

There's Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton, first ladies of yore. Clinton's Senate and Cabinet posts were given to her for her agreeing not to serve Bill with divorce papers during the sex scandals, and she has made hay with them. Obama doesn't even have that. They have no record of real accomplishments, but we're supposed to feel good about their candidacies because of the vibes, I guess.

Pritzker in Illinois? Fatboy doesn't have any accomplishments and under his watch Illinois's taxes are rising ridiculously to the point where people are leaving the state, and he's in deep with the increasingly unpopular trans lobby. Illinois is a swamp of corruption and everyone knows it, half the former governors go to prison and Pritzker will probably be no different.

Pete Buttigieg is such a meme of a candidate. Out of all the departments in this entire administration, you'd pick Transportation as the one with a competent leader who should lead the whole country? Really? Throughout a time of total disasters in transportation and the EV rollout being disastrously unsuccessful, we should back this guy because he's gay and we should all want a gay president?

None of these people have a record that makes you say "yes, this is someone whose leadership we should bring to a larger group of people than they currently lead." Why is this their bench? It's like they're actively mocking the very idea that competence or real achievements should be rewarded.

Alternatively, incentivizing population growth could be effective. However, this approach has a downside: it can lead to a 'breeding war' developed nations have low birth rates and struggle to keep up their native population. With less developed nations having high birth rates. It would probably incentivized mass immigration at a higher level than what it currently is. So basically Mexicans would have the majority vote.
I know it wouldn't be popular but hormonal birth control seriously needs to be banned. It has been absolutely catastrophic for society. It makes women fucking nuts, they piss chemicals into the water supply, fucks up relationship dynamics. The fact women got conned into chemically induced infertility for convenience shocks me still. Fucking insane that shit was approved with basically no studies. I'd honestly prefer abortion be unregulated than women taking the female equivalent of roids every month.

Edit: I don't work on Ammonia equipment but know some people who have. Ammonia isn't something to fuck with. It isn't chlorine but it will still fuck you up. We could fix half the rail in the country for the cost of one yearly check to Israel probably. If the elites had even half the sense of noblesse oblige fuckers like Rockefeller and Ford had we'd be taking the Zuckerrail to work.

The fertility crisis is a complex issue with multiple factors at play, and birth control is just one of the many contributing elements. It's over simplistic to attribute the crisis solely to birth control, as other factors also play a significant role."

They're not going to give up power without exhausting every option, no matter how evil.
Boots on the ground in the Ukraine?
I've been saying that for over a year now that no matter who wins we're getting WW3.

I hope I'm wrong but if you sit and think, and I mean that literally, about all the possible benefits/costs from the PoV of a particularly megalomaniacal group of upjumped dumbass lawyers who think they're infallible it's pretty easy to envision our current scenario as a funnel where all paths lead to WW3.

Only reason I refuse to elaborate is that I came to this conclusion through directed use of shower-thinking so it's not like I have a list of bullet-points to go down. I probably should condense my thoughts on this into a presentable format to concisely explain it at some point before the election.
there is no plan.

They have plans, they're made in think tanks and usually the public isn't privy to them. Remember, if you can think of it, so can someone else - that includes nefarious plans.

As some said earlier all you gotta do is "Taxation means representation ". If you are a net positive you get a vote people, who are a net negative do not. Even if you get a refund if you are contributing while not costing more than you put in you get a say.

So the trademen working a job gets a say while a person living off the gov gets nothing. I'd also make any one on welfare a ward of the state with reduced rights since they have proven they can't take car of themselves.
And again what about the poor fucks that served and became mangled, sick, etc and are no longer able to work due to those "injuries". They're just shit out of luck? Yea your going to live the rest of your life in severe pain, can't wipe your own ass, have a "Dept of Veterans affairs" that will do it's damnest to finish the job of killing you through sheer incompetence or outright malice and you don't get a say in how your country is run.....fuck that.

Here's something really crazy, too:

Diaphragms, those old 1970s relics, weren't as reliable as the pill. But recent research revealed an easier, more effective way to use diaphragms that doesn't even rely on the uncomfortable spermicides, and brings it right in line with the mini-pill for effectiveness. They also now make ones that don't have to be sized (which was always bullshit and someday people will probably figure out a lot of it was about doctors getting to do more pelvic exams).

Diaphragms can last 5-10 years and cost almost nothing to make. In fact, many diaphragm devices that would work perfectly serviceably are sold as "reusable menstrual discs." (hint for your prepping needs, Kiwi bros and sisters!)

But actual diaphragms...well, almost every model is now off the market in the US for no safety reason, just hard to find. They never lost approval, they just stopped selling them here. Doctors will look at you like you're from Mars for requesting information on them or will give inaccurate, decades-outdated information about how you have to use spermicide.

In other countries, you can buy one without a prescription. One size fits almost all. No hormones needed. Nothing disposable. Environmentally friendly silicone and a round steel spring.

But they're ooooold and for old women from another generation so just take the pill, just put the hormones right into your toilet when you piss, it's fine, nothing bad will happen, just keep taking the pilllllls...

IUDs worked great without hormones but now it's almost impossible to get a non-hormonal one. Every doctor will try to sell you on the hormone-containing one. It's very, very important to the powers that be for women to be dosed up with progesterone, because progesterone, the pregnancy hormone, makes you extra safety-inclined (protective evolutionary mechanism for pregnant women). It makes you want to let someone else take charge of things and protect you from the baddies.

Teachers have worker's comp and their body parts are given a price. When one of my mom's little mongrels wrenched her arm and tore her rotator she was assessed to have lost 5% of the use of her arm after surgery/rehab and was given a check based on the assigned value of an arm and the perceived loss. I don't see why they wouldn't do that where injuries are worth some level of taxation for the purposes of representation, if not just flat-out saying that service guarantees suffrage. If you're willing to put your life on the line I think you deserve to be able to vote for the people who'll be sending you to die

Hormone birth control drastically changed the personality of women and make them scary dangerous to the point men will swear off women, if they haven't decided to spend their prime child rearing years whoring around due to the birth control allowing them to.

It's because Hillary cleared out most of the people that would stand to challenge her (only to get sniped by some uppity negro at the last minute) from a position given to her through party hackery.

Realistically this is just the 1998 sex scandal coming home to finally roost for the Democrats.

Sorry to burst the bubble but national popular vote doesn’t win you the presidency. Trump has a big territory to defend and we’re not going to see the same level of enthusiasm in the rust belt that we saw in 2016. Biden will win by a hair:

This is my 2024 prediction and I look forward to another four years of the funniest administration in my lifetime.

Let's see how well this ages. We still have a few month's worth of potential elections surprises left.

Hormones have a profound impact on our bodies and can affect various aspects of our physical and emotional well-being. Makes sense birth can effect woman's moods the way it does.

I'm gonna ask a possibly stupid question. One that has very probably already been asked, but what the hell?

Does Kamala *need* to stay Biden's VP in order for him to keep those war chest funds?

I mean to say, Trump has not yet named a VP for 2024 (It obviously won't be Pence again), and he presumably will not name one until the convention, and yet he will also presumably be able to keep his funds, regardless of who he picks as VP this time.

Anyway, is Kamala even *officially* Biden's running mate for 2024 yet? (I know she is presumed to be, but my question is does she *need* to be? I don't know the answer, hence why I'm asking.) Doesn't that decision happen at the convention?

If she isn't, why couldn't Biden just say say.. switch Harris out for... Newsom, Whitmer, Mike Obama, or anybody else *as VP* and then just... bow out/get 25thd/'prematurely' die, etc. And make that new person the new Dem nominee by default?
if theu replace kamala with a white woman it will be bad optics, if they replace kamala with a white man, it will be giga bad optics.

you see, there is nothing worse than a white male, even if said white male is on your team and 10x more charismatic and qualified to do the job. they cant replace kamala harris because shes a black woman.

the only reason kamala harris was chosen as VP pick is bc she had a smigden of name recognition from the primary debates and she was black, they just wanted the black vote.
Oh, I get ridiculously angry whenever Biden or Pelosi say shit like "Trump cost Americans more jobs than created them!" Some of the most dishonest garbage I've ever heard politicians spew.

They all know damn well that it was the Democrat governors manufacturing an economic crisis because of covid. Fuck off you fucking fucks.
its insane. eats me up everytime i am not sure why trump didnt say that during the debate either or why Republicans dont speak more on that.

I mean, that alone would make me angry if it wasn't just naked projection. What would Trump have if he'd never run for President?
- He'd still have his businesses. The state of New York and Leticia James would not be trying to fuck with them
- He'd still have his freedom. Nobody would be trying to put him in prison
- He'd still have his TV show
- He'd still have leftist celebrities who would kill to be around him
- He'd still have leftist politicians like Schumer, Pelosi or Gillibrand, eager to do favours for him in return for his money and his endorsement
- He'd still be mentioned on every TV show and movie as a byword for wealth and success
Trump's wealth overall has likely declined also since he became president. he said it so damn well at that dinner.

i disagree. i think if the election was held today this would be the likely result. the uncolored states are true tossups right now. close enough that bad weather can determine the results. coin toss.
